I think relying on stream recordings like that is a poor solution at the moment. Most services like Twitch or Picarto don’t hold onto recordings for very long, if at all (unless you continuously pay a premium), and there usually isn’t an easy way to download said streams.

Also, the PS2 could play DVDs which was a really big deal back in 2000.
