the dastards!
I was a hack drummer as well, and what amazed me even more than his speed was his absolute precision. He had rototoms that were maybe 6" and hit them dead center at full speed every time. Just amazing.
The Signals tour LA stop was my first concert. As a young/new drummer, it was very memorable and a little mind blowing.
I love the canon, but I always come back to Fly by Night.
Talking about best Rush albums and no one mentions A Farewell to Kings? I mean, that whole run from 2112 to Moving Pictures is damn near flawless.
Signals was youngfred’s into to the band, which was probably fortunate. The straightforward rock of songs like Subdivisions and New World Man would definitely be more appealing to a kid than the proggier, longer material. We came around to all that as well but Signals was an excellent gateway drug.
i....did not know people hated counterparts! i thought all the hate went to roll the bones.
Counterparts is great. Not my favorite, but if I were stack ranking, I might place above Moving Pictures.
My soft spot is for Hold Your Fire, because it was released my freshman year of college.
They didn’t have a scandal involving a governor to distract from before.
I disagree. Sure, both made original claims that were a bit much, but that’s where the similarities end.
Honestly, Peter Molyneux’s shtick is so much more cynical. He knows he’s lying, and he continue to peddle it.
Sean seems to understand how his previous marketing stance was flawed but also tends to get really excited about cool projects.

I think I would have preferred a show that leaned more into the Neo-western-noir aspects of the show and less into a “let’s make live action feel like a cartoon.” With all the gritty reboots these days, this was one thing where a gritty reboot probably would have been much more appropriate.
Are you being deliberately obtuse or are you actually dull enough to not get the absolute basics of why pausing is a good thing for games to let you do?
True. I felt the point of animation was to do things visually that couldn’t be done in live action, whether they make sense or not, and most anime is nonsense anyway. This show seems to be in the same category of show as American Gods and Blade Runner 2049: beautiful to look at, but without any substance or sense of…
Not as shocking at the green light
And the processed metal blocks show up in the valuables to sell section even though you can actually use them for trade as well so keep an eye out for that.
Possible that the companies don’t really think they’re worth it. Microsoft already has Call of Duty, so they don’t need any of Ubisoft’s shooters, and Sony now has Destiny, so they don’t need any other looter shooter. Rayman and the Rabbids are only really profitable on the Switch right now. Assassin’s Creed and Far…
