The Wii U was a gigantic failure, but at least its reason for existence was to bring us Mario Kart 8, not to make sure slavery continued to be the foundation of an evil society.

This is awesome. I bought it instantly. I beat original Persona 4 but still have an unopened copy of Persona 4 Golden for Vita sitting on my shelf because I could never force myself back to that tiny screen and cramped controls.

Those are all age variations, which look nice but if you let them sit they all get to the same ‘mature weed’ look.  What I do is pick them sparsely whenever I get the ‘sell 20 weeds’ quest, and that keeps them in different states.

Oh good lord no. Final Fantasy VI, for instance was a much better RPG, and there were lots of others that were better than FF VII like Suikoden II. They just didn’t have the super high class amazing (for the time) 3D CG.

Maybe after being told for 10-20 years that this was the best RPG ever made, but having the only available versions be terrible looking crappy ports, they want to see what the fuss was about with the remake.

I really disliked the original FF7 for how it traded in the expressive detailed sprites and great stories of previous JPRGs for gorgeous (at the time, now terrible) pre-rendered CG, boringly lengthy summons, and spectacularly ugly 3D models. I played FF7 right after Wild Arms and it felt like a huge step down.

I played the mobile game for two years, and yeah, it’s the same thing on art and plot. Art is gorgeous, characters look great because it’s Hideo Minaba who worked on FFV, FFVI, FFIX except there’s entirely too much time spent on their hair.
