I don’t have this drive, but I do have a 14 TB RAID. Once a week, I hook it up, turn it on, and run a script that backs up every single file from every single machine I have to it, overnight.

Konami used to be fantastic before they decided they could make more money on pachinko and mobile crap than on video games.  I’m sure he has no trouble thanking the old Konami.

It’s worth remembering that the Chinese government (aka Tencent) did ActiBlizz CEO Bobby Kotick a huge favor in helping repurchase the stocks from Vivendi in 2013. They still own about $2.5B worth of ActiBlizz last time I looked.

So he’s going for a ghetto Scientology then.

This was one of the very last games I backed on Kickstarter/IGG, back when I was realizing it was almost always a fool’s game to do so. But I needed this to get made. It’s been a hell of a long time and I’d basically given up on it at various points...

The best way to play Call of Duty Mobile is on my dick.

Oh god yes. After DQB2 I was jonesing for more DQB, so I went back and played DQB1 and realized just how much better DQB2 is.

The game is wonderful, but... yeah, fishing is just resource gathering.

Old time love for Breath of Fire 3 and 4. Those had the best fishing games I’d played as a minigame up till FF XV (which definitely deserves its place here).

Oh, so you’re the guy who caused this (by buying the XB1S).  Thanks Joe!

TIL this terrible thing is actually demonstrating feminist sympathies.

Maybe you consider it more of an ingredient than a sauce, but Spicy Sesame Oil is great added to so many things even after they’re cooked. I’ll even add a little to Indian food. You just have to be careful - sesame oil is delicious, but too much will overwhelm to original dish. There are plenty of brands, but Kadoya

Stephen covers all this all in the article, but here’s the tl;dr version:

Though since it’s Nintendo, the ‘small’, ‘bite size’ game comes with a full $60 price.

AlphaDream was 20 years old, pretty old school (and a lot of people from Square, so even older school). I can believe they’d do the employment for life thing and I think ‘full of shit’ is way too strong. It still happens.

It’s just as expensive to make a quality handheld 3DS game as it is to make a Switch game. Art, sound, and programming costs aren’t any cheaper just because it’s on a smaller screen. You might save a teeny bit on art, but M&L had better art than some Switch games (shame about the gameplay).

Fire Emblem?

That sucks, but looking at their recent output, which has been remakes of older games for a dying handheld (the 3DS), I can see why they might have run out of money.

Lot of people have a Switch or PS4... but for those who don’t, yep, it’s out.  It’s so weird they bring their Dynasty Warriors clone to the PC, but not DQB.

I beat the Atlantis (and other) DLC and uninstalled with 180 hours played. I loved it, but I am not going back.
