Hey now, don’t forget Star Citizen is using Lumberyard *snicker*
Hey now, don’t forget Star Citizen is using Lumberyard *snicker*
I don’t think that’s quite as bad in the long run, because as long as the assets exist somewhere they can be excavated eventually... but in the short run it is sure f@#$ing infuriating.
This is just normal though. Nobody thought games were worth preserving, and before persistent internet there was no place safe to put them all. Most game companies that have been around before 2000 have lots of ‘lost’ games, and if they’re really f@#$ing lucky some employee still has a copy of the source code completel…
Oh for gods sake, what a stupid kneejerk word. ENTITLED. Yes, if they want to sell me a product I am ENTITLED to see any value in it before I give them my money. And this looks like an absolutely terrible deal. They’re not giving me anything, they’re selling me something (badly). But how about you just send me $1000…
They’re claiming they’ll do that in the future - assuming it goes anywhere and they don’t get bored of it. Until sometime in 2020 you have to subscribe (and pay in advance). And still buy the games.
So you have to pay $10/mo, put up with the streaming lag, and you still have to ‘buy’ the individual games?
Yeah, and I like the console version better but, I’d really like that console version on my PC! I know, that’s probably never happening.
If you’ve ever done nerf herding on Gestron and driven your truck through a herd of 5000 pissed off nerfs you’ll know why you need nerf bars on your truck.
Or reading a lot of porn!
I haven’t seen the movie and have no desire to due to the previous. My point was it’s not entirely the movie’s fault if it’s disappointing - it’s just got devalued source material to start with.
Yeah, I’m not gonna defend DC on that front either.
Marvel comics had completely devalued the Dark Phoenix storyline already. This stuff is nowhere near as compelling as it was in 1980 - Marvel’s incestuously libidinous need to stick its phalli into anything popular and breed it for all its worth had already sucked any resonance out of it.
I appreciate that, but the thing is you don’t actually need a Facebook account for Facebook to be sucking up every single bit of information about you and using it to create a profile to exploit. They have a profile on every single person on the planet who has ever left a shred of internet available data - besides…
They say it’s not complicated and also somehow fun, though I’m a bit skeptical.
Awww, Hell - guess I gotta teamview home and start updating. Thank you!
Everything has to be wireless for VR to really take off as promised (at least) 5 times before. So this is great.
Lift Your JUNK (TM)
You make that sound like it’s not a win win.
Oh c’mon, it’s a port. What you’re describing is what every good (or great) port does. Just call it a high quality port to distinguish it from crap like Arkham Knight.
You’ve got one big amoral international corporation (with fuzzy ownership tentacles) suing another big amoral international corporation over which parasitic vampire is owed the biggest share of the HOORAH brood vats, oh boohoo.
