Can you go a match without having an epileptic fit?  Do you have two functioning hands? You can probably do pretty well on the H1Z1 pro circuit for the same reason.

I’m not saying it was a good thing to do or that it shouldn’t be covered. I don’t want to defend this twit.

Well, all right, I’m sure they’ll be charging him next week then.

If you’re talking about the UK’s Computer Misuse Act (which other places like Canada have picked up) I’m not sure it really covers this.

For what it’s worth, he didn’t hack anything. All you do is send a print job to port 9100, which is an industry standard. The printers were just left wide open because HP and Samsung (and probably Epson and Canon) don’t give a shit about security and ship wide open by default.

Besides that, ‘Gun’ is a terrible name. It sounds good at first, short and powerful and easy to remember... but then it’s just so generic it kind of slips off your mind. As much as we make fun of bad ones, this is why ‘X : Something More Catchy’ is often a good idea for a game name.  Maybe ‘Gun: The Cross of Coronado’

That’s another way to go - get yourself a benefactor.  Works in the Asian games too. There aren’t any rich uncles or well paying heists in RDO yet, but maybe in a year.

Whoops, my apologies to Québec.  They’re both good studios!

Oh good, all through the rest of the game I was wondering what would have happened if you hadn’t beaten him up - did you even have the option? I couldn’t remember.  I suspected the game would force you to, since [spoilers].  Now I know, thank you!

Yeah, a lot of dissonance in the scripted bits where Arthur is too nice or too nasty for what you’ve been playing.

I did not even realize that your Arthur Morgan in the pic up there was an Arthur Morgan till I read the caption - making your point nicely.

Yeah, I should have included Origins in that too.

There is one big difference between the Lenovo Superfish debacle and this one - the Lenovo one was deliberate. The entire point was to let them spy on all your encrypted connections.

Of course this is a beta; things will certainly change.

Yeah - as I noted in a reply to Lozzle, Origins and Odyssey were in development at the same time, so this also applies to Origins. It just feels more shocking in Odyssey (if you’re American) because real dicks are far more taboo than breasts here - lest you tempt someone into being gay by seeing one.

The tone is definitely very light compared to Origins. On the other hand the sidequests are way better. And yeah, it Kassandra’s not an assassin (she’s a mercenary), so the game hardly feels like Assassin’s Creed except where it briefly crosses over into the Isu stuff.

I don’t recall any fully nude NPCs (maybe that’s the line they drew), but there were lots of statues and paintings. Everyone focused on the giant dicks on statues because hur hur hur, but there are exposed breasts in the art.

An interesting article on one reason the game took so long to make:

China’s gone full in on spying on every citizen constantly. Cameras everywhere running full face recognition, your cars are tracked (they have plans for that for non-EVs - you won’t be able to buy a non-tracked car, besides the license plate cameras they already have), all your internet use is tied to your national
