Curse is so good though, don’t feel too bad. Plus Odyssey will eat you for at least 100 hours - it’ll wait, oh yes, it’ll be waiting for you.

I really love how Odyssey abandons AC’s puritanism.
Yeah, the map is plenty damn big and there are several areas that are pretty empty you could cram stuff into. And of course with Fate of Atlantis there is a lot of sea floor.
Bethesda promised a good game, too.
Ehhhh, it’s gonna be mediocre at best, suck at worst. You won’t replicate all the fun of something like Mushroom Hunting in live action.
Ugh, no, they both have things wrong with them. They both have things good with them. Origin’s main plot was more memorable, but Odyssey’s subplots and interactions were better. They’re DIFFERENT. That’s all I’ve said from the first post, I think you’re discussing something different than I am. Do you need me to…
There’s a difference between ‘these things are different’ and ‘therefore one of them must be bad.’
Good point - I’ve been trying hard to find some real schematics of the lander, but failing hard. Explosives (it’s more of tiny puff, really) are good because they’re much more reliable than moving parts (and if you have a bunch around the perimeter a few can fail and it’ll still work) and it would suck if you had a…
There’s a fixed Instrument Context Camera with a fisheye lens mounted to the bottom. That was the dusty pic.
Almost no time. The first thing Insight did when it touched down is deploy the solar panels, because it has limited battery and without the panels it is f@#$ed. Then it transmitted a ‘I’M ALIIIIIVE’ back to JPL (and the Cubesats).
Hah! I made the comment above (below?) that this is ‘flawless’ by video gamer standards.
The Cubesats are even cooler than this - Insight did not deploy them just before landing. They separated at launch (at Earth) and have been zooming along on their own ever since, powered by a fire extinguisher (wooooo!)
Just watch it on youtube, like I do when I get bored of a game. If the game has failed you it’s no shame to watch the ending without ‘earning it’. At 140 hours you earned it.
Bayek is awash in family drama - he’s not a happy man. The death of his son, his disintegrating relationship with his wife... Kassandra is only unhappy briefly - she’s a wisecracking (murderous) fairy flitting through ancient Greece. The way the game starts out you think there’s some deep drama but [spoilers]nobody’s…
That would be terrible. The whole point of Apple is that it is a very secure very expensive walled garden where they care a lot about your privacy (except for using Google as the default search, but they don’t have their own).
Bayek was all about Aya and Khemu. More concentrated, less broad. I enjoyed Kassandra - I don’t need DRAMA all the time. But when I remember Odyssey it’s going to be the cult. It’s too bad, because I like her as much as Ezio, but because of how things are now she only gets one padded game worth of Plot instead of…
Lots of Asian restaurants are open, and as with Christmas they can be a godsend if you don’t have a turkey thing going on. Some of them close at 3 PM though, best to check.
I just one-shotted him with my maxed assassin build. No problem, no epic.
I liked Origins, but I really like how Odyssey doesn’t always hold your hand. It may nudge.
Samsung’s really throwing the shit at the wall to see what sticks this time. Five ‘flagship’* phones? Well, more choice for us.
