Woo, this is one of my favorite Tales games. Played it on the X360, and sure I’ll play it again.

RIIIIIICHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRD!
There were some great announcements in there (though the most exciting ones were just 30 second cockteases), but that was an excruciatingly bad livestream.
I know it’s midnight in New York, but did all of Kotaku go to sleep after Bethesda without covering the most important game announcement of E3, http://metalwolfchaos.com/ ?
I loved the ‘first’ reboot. Very few FPSes that focus on speed and thinking now. I’ll take more!
So it’s got big Nukes... and then they’ll sell you multiplayer nuke insurance for real world money like Metal Gear Online did?
Microsoft did kill Rare, or at least put it into a coma... then ten years later apparently they had a change of heart (which does bode somewhat well for Ninja Theory). The biggest problem is that MS just corporatizes things naturally, almost accidentally, without malice, like squashing chickens with their big elephant…
I’m hoping! Hey, Mattrick is gone.
I guess C&C has a ten year head start on Gears for going from cool and special to boring franchise, so that’s why they only get the mobile game?
just ‘cause
I’m sure it is, and I’m sure they really do want a ‘Sony’ studio to make ‘Sony’ games - but then they love and hug and squeeze and kiss them into drooling marketing driven lumps like they did with Rare and so many other studios. MS can’t help but ‘helpfully’ manage things into corporate blandness.
Microsoft makes things bland and corporate with the best of intentions. They don’t ‘force’ you to make formulaic pablum like Halo 5, and they don’t want to be EA - they just wear you down with ‘helpful’ input from marketing, focus groups, consultants, and so so many layers of management who basically tell you to do…
That they’ve got a mobile F2P piece of crap pretty nicely encapsulates just how far down the marketing craphole this series has fallen.
What MS does, with the best of intentions, is manage them to death (or at least to senescence, like Rare).
Well, at least they’re starting to try. But since most of those guys were already making XB1 exclusives is that a big help?
Well, that is one beautiful game engine.
I am willing to bet $1000 it does not release January 29, 2019
No I don’t think they’re my friend.
Generation Horizon Zero Totally Not Dawn is obviously very ‘inspired’ by The Terminator’s music, too.
Originally he had a fairly normal proportioned face on a big head with a big forehead and jaw (like Frankenstein’s monster), but it wasn’t too long before they really started giving him the thick brow bones, pug nose, and giant nose to lip gap to make him look more stupid and bestial.
