I have a bills spreadsheet that I look over every payday (biweekly). So I check that whatever was supposed to be paid got paid and generally glance over the ol’ checking account, filling in the spreadsheet as I go. It also helps (or pisses me off...) me see how much in bills I pay monthly/yearly whatever

Yeah, I agree with the established relationship and whatnot. If you only meet up once and that’s it... you are still strangers and it’s ok to ghost. Deal with it!
