Yeah, I remember watching this in HS too, tho I think it might have been in History class. Would be amazing to see again on the big screen, I know there’s a lot of the film that I don’t totally remember clearly.

Yeah but.... the quote marks should have been a clue

Very true, but say what he deserves is a 60 or 80 or 100 year sentence—- in a case like this where it’s clear that extends way beyond when he will actually be alive then those extra 40 years are largely symbolic. Even with the 45 year sentence, the result is that he will be in prison for the rest of his life.

As a parent our children will be known for their minds and not there appearance.

I just posted this in another thread but perhaps here is the better place to share this news.

On a crappy-beer-related side note, yesterday Pabst Blue Ribbon threw a *hip and totally happening* launch party in Harajuku to celebrate the launch of sales in Japan. (link)

Top story.

.... Wow. Just...

Yeah in Japan it’s referred to as the catch-all “horumon.” The most common way to eat it is grilled on skewers like yakitori, but hot pots or bowls of stewed horumon are also quite popular.

But... what about the Nitro Cold Brew with Sweet Cream ?!

Huh, interesting!

This has always been so interesting to me! I grew up in NC where pretty much everybody I knew said “soda.” I had no idea that calling everything “coke” was supposed to be a Southern thing. (And if you look at those infographic maps where it tracks which state says what, NC is overwhelmingly less “coke” than the rest

Waiting for this comment!

Out of curiosity, where is that? I’ve never heard of grades that young being called middle school.

Huh, I had totally never heard of those!

Yeah he was only able to be in the Psych movie in a much more limited role than originally planned because he was still mostly in recovery at that point. It’s been a long road, but so glad he’s back to business!

...breakfast... radishes...?

Fuck yes. Tokyo here, and while it took much less than 2 hours, I had to take two trains and a bus to get to the Kawasaki Costco, and it was an all day event.

Right?! Sure my Costco is the cheapest around, but there’s a Sinclair just down the street from my office that averages only 5 or 6 cents a gallon higher than Costco so..... yeah.
