Year before last when I got the flu shot, I swear to god the lady administering it had the plague or something. She looked like death, and at least three times had to leave the room to hack and sneeze or whatever and then come back and attempt to give me the shot again.

I’m the same way with hair salons and things like that! When I go in for a cut and color or whatnot, I’d much rather spend my time paging through a magazine/playing games on my phone/reading blogs or whatever. I mean, if the stylist asks me questions or tries to engage in conversation I don’t mind and I’ll respond…

There are a lot of really great beers in Japan now. A few years ago I got to go to the Great Japan Beer Festival (side note— hands down one of the best beer fests in the country) and tried a really fantastic white ale from Minoh with notes of pepper.

Haha, I will unashamedly admit it took me *YEARS* to figure out Shinjuku station and actually get where I wanted to go.
