Ok... this story is kind of setting off the bullshit meter.

Really? Stannis is such an uptight stick-in-the-mud, I think I'd go crazy if I had to spend the rest of my life with the man.

Yeah, hard to say. The story I was told was that during the hiring/contract process, GS basically just said "Btw, we see you're married to a Japanese, so would you like to opt into the 70-30 system?"

What I always found interesting is that in Japan, traditionally the wife controls all of the household expenses — especially in cases where you have a housewife/working husband combo.

Quick, random question — in the photo at the bottom, depending on how *much* older the older child in that pic is... wouldn't it be impossible for that Mom to have two children at that age if she's constantly breastfeeding them?

Okay, just to be clear here... this is Triumph's annual novelty bra presentation. They're not actually sold in stores, and they choose the theme each year to poke fun at some recent topic or happening.

The fairies were awesome, as ever.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it was him. I was looking at the promo pics they released and one of them is of Emma looking really sad, and it looks kinda like she's in August's motel room — like, she went to visit him to ask about Henry and found him all turned to wood on the bed or something.

Ok, I'll grant you that it's not the best example. But it doesn't change the fact that "they" is a plural pronoun and technically shouldn't be used to refer to a single person.

Totally agree, it still looks like Bale's mouth to me, even without hearing the voice.

It's awkward in cases where you want to talk about the singular... I mean, it's a plural pronoun.

Wow, yeah that's basically what mine is like — only smaller, and on the top.

Yeah, I guess "little things" was maybe a poor choice of words... I mean, I know he would never actually call someone the N word, but he tends to do the "ironic racism" thing quite a lot — he thinks he's being funny, but it's just uncomfortable.

There's actually something I've always wondered about. The pupil in my right eye is not perfectly round — there's a bit that sticks out at the top that makes the pupil sort of a keyhole shape. And it actually dilates, etc. so I'm pretty sure it's a part of the actual pupil, not just a dark part of my iris.

The little things can be the most insidious.

Right, but that's kind of my point — they don't actually see any of that as racism. "I don't have minority friends, but that's just cause all my friends happen to be white." Or, "the black/hispanic/etc kids just don't seem to like the same things I do/go to the places I go to. If they did, we'd probably be friends."

I guess Softbank is just to cool to play with the other kids?

I'm from the South (tho not quite as "south" as all that), and I see that sort of thing all the time.

Plain White T's do it better.^^

I think it depends... usually you aim with just your dominant eye, but since there's no sight on this bow, it's probably just as easy to aim with both eyes. Some (old) styles of archery do that.
