At this point, I’ve memorized when The Office and Friends air on CC and TBS respectively. Turn to the channel, take a nap, wake up, and it’s still on.

I invented a drinking game shortly after the pandemic began. It’s called South Park, The Office, or Commercial. The rules are simple: all you do is guess whether South Park, The Office, or a commercial will be playing when you flip over to Comedy Central. If you get it right, you take a drink. If you get it wrong, you…
I just started DETROITers; it’s so good.
I assume the supporting cast will be made up of real vampires playing themselves
It occupies a similar place in my heart as “Chronicles of Riddick,” which if not as high-minded is equally sweeping and preposterous.
Wonderful of you to do this!
At long last the world will see Jeanne Garfarlo’s perplexing scenes where she shares dungeons and dragons lingo with the legless Kevin Smith war veteran. A lot of this film is like a fever nightmare. I would kill to have a live reaction of that Cannes audience.
I think this film is basically the modern Zardoz. Objectively not a good movie, but so odd, and at the same time giving insight into the era in which it was made.
“A world of flesh-eating monsters, eh? Any role for me?”
My favorite look of hers was what she did for “Nocturnal Animals”. It could have been a blink-and-you-miss-it role, but of course Riseborough made it so much more.
The word ‘chameleonic’ tends to be overused regarding actors - but Andrea Riseborough truly is. It’s astonishing to me how different she looks in every movie.
When I think of the PS3 era (even though I never owned one), games like this are what I think of. Hohokum, The Unfinished Swan, Journey, The Puppeteer, LittleBigPlanet. All of those games might not be the biggest, brightest, or command the most attention like Uncharted or God of War or Resistance. They were charming…
Another one of those damn jingles that take up space in my brain. Every Holiday Season I inevitably sing “Ho-Ho-Ho I’m Hu-Hu-Hungry” multiple times.
I’m pretty sure they still use this one!
I’ve literally had the audio from this commercial stuck in my head every few weeks since the 90s. It’s been a nightmare.
“i also sometimes set aside 345 hours (14.4 days) to watch my favorite movie Gunsmoke”
I can’t tell if you’re basing that Gunsmoke joke on Bonanas for Bonanza or not.
I think the whole notion of that season being called a “movie” came from a French critics polls where the criteria technically never specified that it had to be a movie. It’s just that movies were always held in such higher regard that a TV show had never made the list before.
Why is she in Amy Sedaris’s kitchen?
