The Starz version focuses exclusively on the most fascinating aspect of the whole cult: the late-night volleyball.

I’m with you on this so much. Keith Rainiere pissed me off week after week with his vitriol and nonsense bull. Every episode felt like, “oh by the way here’s more shitty behavior and a shot of him playing volleyball or running.” I was ready to give up a few episodes ago but I stuck it out to end for a crappy bow out.

What can I say?  People love to look at toady guys in Jesus haircuts and short shorts.

If there’s no elderly Wookies jacking off to VR porn, I’m not watching it.

Fuck, I missed the notice that I’m Sorry was cancelled. That one really doesn’t make sense, its a vehicle for creator/star Andrea Savage so I’m sure she could find time for it. Tom Everett Scott is delightful as her husband but he’s not really an in demand actor as far as I can tell. The only other cast member that’s

My graduating class didn’t even know who Yassir Arafat was, and I graduated when he was still in power! No way in hell modern college students would know him, much less compare him to classmates.

That really is just it’s own little sub-genre, isn’t it? I really loved the book of Big Trouble, and tried most of the other authors in that genre, only to be disappointed. I read one book each by Hiassen and Tim Dorsey and they were just that - it was a bunch of wacky Floridians in waaaacky scenarios. But Barry has a

Sun, mercurus, uranus, uh, water planet...” Dr Steve Brule, Check it out! (S2E4: Space)

It’s kinda a no brainer why Mulan is failing in China itself. They literally make a 100 movies like that a year. Sure maybe not with Disney budgets but Wuxia stories about Chinese history/legend is kinda one of their specialties. They don’t really want that from America movie companies.

Marvel has a history of incorporating licensed tie-ins for various properties with the Marvel Universe. Like the time the Seventh Doctor dropped off an alien robot bounty hunter on top of the then home of the Fantastic Four.

Those look like they really channel the spirit of the film.
