Is anyone else here just generally tired of Star Wars ?

Everytime I read about anything new involving Star Wars, I can’t help but feel indifferent. I grew up with it, certainly, and I was a fan of the series in the 80s and into the 90s, but at 34, I feel like I’ve completely lost interest. I sometimes feel really

Try as I might, I couldn’t get past the first few epsiodes of this show without just giving up in disgust. For all the talk of character growth being a central part of what makes this show great, I could not find a character that wasn’t insufferable in some way. I couldn’t find a single character that I even cared to

That and the perception that it was the least undesirable console when it was released. So it’s sort of become/is becoming seen as the “default” console for all those multiplatform titles.

I’m probably going to get skewered for this but this kind of actually sounds like a game I wouldn’t want to play or buy. I just can’t invest more than say ... 80 to 100 hours of my life into a single game before I just grow tired of it and need to be doing or playing something drastically different. I mean, I would be

I don’t get how anyone couldn’t have figured out the roller’s weak points within the first 15 minutes of play. I played both the Friday night and Saturday afternoon game slots and mostly concentrated on taking out the rollers on the other team with the sniper rifle thing and that minature version of the super soaker

I really don’t get this assertion that amiibo are a form of on disc dlc. It’s kind of a bizzare criticism that kind of overlooks that, first and foremost, amiibo are collectible figurines. I own about 8 of these things, which are all characters I would love to own in collectible figurine form, and which are, in my

I was always quite partial to the PC engine, never actually owned one as I never lived in japan, but still, I love it’s simplicity.

I mostly use the amiibos like they were pokemon. Train them, customize them, take them to a friends house, see who’s amiibo is better. I’ve heard of some players using them for gambling in this way.

Piracy of what ?

Yeah quality control has always been an issue with mods. I could easily see this sort of thing significantly devaluing a mod on the market place, if it does work with the most popular mods.

Oh I understand the benefits of digitally distributed games, lower costs, never having to deal with stock issues, more easily updated for bugs and glitches etc... But because I don’t actually own any game I’ve purchased, I cannot independently preserve or protect my collection from things like hard drive crashes via

As a person who now has access to the xb1, my gripe is the UI, which is terrible and buggy as hell

It looks pretty cool, but unfortunately, it's still just one exclusive. Personally, I wouldn't buy a console until there are a number of exclusives that are worth buying whose total cost would be about the same price as the system itself. That's my rule of thumb. So in the case of the PS4, when it gets about 6 or 7

Oh god the irony! My boyfriend JUST bought an XboxOne, like literally last Saturday.

I like most of that idea other than the one where you’ve got a professional developer selling dlc as a paid mod. Could that discourage bedroom modders from making mods if they thought they had to compete with the games own developers ? Would it work better for the developers to reach out to modders in the community

Speaking from my own personal experience, there is not much on the app store I think is worth buying. I would also like to point out how much more control Apple has over the visibility of apps on the AppStore, with the whole “featured apps” page and carefully guided browsing through the “explore” tab, than Valve has

I agree, this whole “you get 25% we get 75%” model is pretty terrible. Plus if they are going to offer paid mods, they also need to offer a quality control system, like mandatory user ratings on mods that had been paid for.

Or it could also lead people away from the market entirely. Why bother even looking when there is nothing worth buying?
