Yeah I suppose. GPS does open an unintended entry point. Maybe something like a plug in device that the company has that lets aug.s work at higher strength and then collects from the employee after work is done.

Another way would be to have a GPS locator installed on the Augment so that extra strength is only available at work locations. That way you remove the owners liability altogether.

I see a host of issues with some augments when it comes to defining if the manufacture is at fault or the person with the augment installed in them.
