Elizabeth, you know that, currently, most of the hydrogen is produced from fossil fuel, right ? Therefore not any cleaner than gas.
I get that and I respect thats a consideration. At that rate I’d probably still just go to credit union and secure loan through them and buy private sale. Buy like a $1500 accord or something.
So basically the same thing that happens to a gas truck when it tows things will happen to an electric one.
Because, if I cannot go to a dealership, or log onto the internet and plunk down $75,000 for your electric truck, and either drive away with it or have it delivered in short order, you aren’t really mass-producing it.
Can we just say what everyone is thinking? This thing is hideous inside and out.
We haven’t talked all that much about the NIO ES6 here on Jalopnik, mainly because it’s a product from a startup that isn’t going to be available in the United States and because the company itself has always seemed on the brink of disaster.
“I’m sorry, but your Ferrari’s policy specifically excludes damage that happens on a track.”
They’ve got a 109kWh battery in there, so it’s pretty efficient. But yeah, 478 miles WLTP is gonna be more like 410-420 EPA at best. It’ll probably match the Model S LR (which is 95-100kWh) for range but it’s still quite a bit short of the top-end Lucid Air and Model S Plaid+, which will both do about 520 miles when…

If we’re going to pay for “infrastructure” we should start with maintaining and repairing what we already have. Since you’re so concerned…
Let me guess, you’re a dealer? We just want to buy cars from the manufacturers where they’d compete on price against each other in the segment. RAV4 or CR-V would be like Samsung and Apple coming out with their new CUV with price competitiveness.
I've been wanting to buy a new car for months. I get to the end of the configurator, and I have to contact a dealer. And I nope out. Just take my money and give me product! Fuck!
> It wouldn’t be the most attractive argument, but at least it would be honest.
It they were honest, they wouldn’t be car dealers.
