Thank you!

I saw a huge hole in the market for wood-based-crane content, and I FILLED IT.

David, I just want to say that I massively enjoy you going through all of these static and shear calculations. We need more of it. And by we, I mean this fellow engineer who likes to see engineers ruin silly things with calculations.

Let me go log in to other browsers so I can click on this article again and again. These articles are what deserve the clicks.

In its current state its easily defeatable by covering the camera which from forum posts is definitely a thing many of us do. Also because of the opt out that you can do it would be a pretty nice lawsuit if Tesla used that info against you when you have opted out.

1st gear:

But the electricity is almost certainly a LOT cheaper per mile driven than the gas. Amortized over the life of the car, $1,000 to put in a level 2 charger will easily pay for itself. I’m guessing it will become standard practice to roll a charger install into the financing for the car to avoid up-front cost.

Like the eGolf, 500e, BEV smartcar, bolt, spark EV, soul EV, leaf, focus EV, and whatever else I am missing? All of which can be found lightly used under $20k and a new Bolt in the low 20s.

One, electric hot hatches will be cool.

Tell that to David Tracy.

1st: Does it really need pointing out that people who work in factories can’t build cars from their kitchen table?

What kind of analogy is that?

The Hindenburg report said they’re faking orders and are years away from production. Not that they’re faking (dinner) orders and are years away from production (of flying cars); or whatever weird comparison you were implying.

Just going to say it:

I mean, I would think that’s pretty standard cover-your-ass legalese, to prevent them from potential lawsuits...

But not many people hit the hilarious trifecta of misusing Autopilot, driving on a suspended license and crashing into a cop. It could have only been more stupid if they crashed into a jail. lol

So, plenty of other people have accidents on suspended licenses, plenty of other people hit stopped cop cars, and plenty of other types of cars hit trucks. None of this is news except if you are once again trying to smear Tesla. Look, AP/FSD/Waymo and whatever future self driving vehicles (even eventual L5) have and

Tesla Autopilot is getting really good. Here we see it pull itself into the nearest Charger.

If an i3 owner thinks this is bad that really puts this monstrosity into perspective.

“We pay literally hundreds of millions of dollars in taxes. We don’t even want government subsidies. We just want to be left alone and the government can’t help itself but to, like: ‘Here’s an oil company driving their oil tanker into some rocks, making a living, you know, living their dream, let’s try to ruin that as
