Here is what most people seem to forget. Uber/Lyft/DoorDash/etc. were never designed to be jobs and/or business; they were designed to be gigs. They were designed to be add-ons. They were designed to take advantage of extra unused vehicle space during trips that were happening anyway. Expecting to make full-time

So what’s the alternative?

Step 1 - Spin off Porsche

You realize Tesla not only has Service Centers but a robust mobile service fleet, including trucks that can do wheel/tire mounting.

So you want to pay a middle man so you can feel like you got a better deal than you did?

Neutral:

EVs in general haven’t broken into that “I buy electric because it’s just better” space yet, but I think Tesla may have. Surveys of Tesla drivers show that environmental impact often isn’t even on the list of why people buy them. People buy the Model 3 because it’s quick, trendy, practical, cheap to run, and no more

Regardless of what you think of Tesla, their cars, or their chief executive, you gotta give them credit for being the first automaker in a long time to beat the Germans in their own segment. For years nothing touched the 3-series, A4, and C-Class in the US. Efforts like the XE, Giulia, IS, Q50, etc were often capable

So because they’re female they are automatically “booth babes” and not just someone there to talk about the product. If it was two dudes standing there in similar attire, would that be ok.  If you always look for something wrong you will always find it.

were using data from 2014-2017

Talking about it, and it actually happening are two very different things.

Base trim Model 3 is $38k with 263 miles, pretty close while still being affordable. Definitely a big price jump to go up to $47k for 353 miles. The vast majority have no issues, it’s just like anything where there’s a very loud minority when there is a problem. And at least their problems that do exist are almost

And here it is. I’d demand to know why they aren’t making it but I’d probably find the answer depressing.

I just want a legit electric enthusiast car, preferably with a 2-door sports car body. I don’t need a back seat and extra doors to drag around. Unless they’re in front of a wagon-style rear end, but we all know that’s never happening in an affordable price range.

What about just putting it in a kit car project? Like a Caterham kit, Meyers Manx, Exocet, Superlite...etc.

The cheapest Taycan is actually 80,000 in the US, so I'm also confused.

The E-Tron GT will start at 99,800 euros ($120,343) in Germany, while the RS E-Tron will start at 132,800 ($160,135) euros. For reference, the base rear-wheel-drive Taycan begins at 83,500 euros ($100,613) in Germany, though the Taycan 4S, which is a better counterpart to the E-Tron GT in terms of performance, begins

Or say “derpy” because everybody does, it hurts nobody and the only argument presented against that is that it’s the hurts-nobody substitute of a hurtful word that means something completely different.

“Derpy” is not only very much fine to say, it is a non-ableist way to substitute for... well, yeah, the R word.

I have zero clue of any connection to a Pony, nor do I care. The word is an old term for a “fail” or anything “silly” or “goofy”, like the author’s original instincts told her. It’s a major stretch to try and tie it to the real clinical term for intellectual disabilities that we used to use as an insult (r-word).
