Probably going to take flak for this, but Leto’s Joker laugh is really underrated.

Princess Mononoke in 1988? But that movie came out in like 1997...
Ugh, I remember the weekend he took over for Norm Macdonald on Weekend Update. What a disappointment that was...
The GBA SP was my favorite system when it was around and it got me through some tough times. I took that thing to university with me, playing it on long train rides back and forth to see my girlfriend at the time (who lived three hours away). I put so many hours into Lunar, Castlevania, Mario Advance, Pokemon, etc...…
So you know what’s underrated? Going to minor league games. $10-15 tickets, $8 parking, $4 beers... It’s wonderful.
This is literally the only thing I remember from this episode. I believe the episode was available on VHS as a special item from Burger King of all places as well. Between Pokemon and Dragon Ball Z, BK certainly had the late 90s anime market cornered.
Right! I’ve been listening to podcasts since 2009. One of the first podcasts I subscribed to started in 2005, another in 2006. That was a long time ago at this point!
Venom grossed over 200 million dollars at the US box office, which was more than twice its budget and also pretty damn great for a *Venom* movie... Have some perspective.
Spiderverse also only cost a fraction of what the big, tentpole releases cost, so a 375 million dollar gross is fine for that particular production.
I started using Facebook in December 2005 when it started spreading like wildfire across my college campus. I actually had Facebook *before* MySpace, which I believe I didn’t have until 2006. By 2008, I wasn’t using MySpace any longer and it’s appearance in the movie Funny People (2009) already felt dated by the time…
I subscribed for about three months back in 2014. I didn’t receive a single item that I found interesting or worth even owning. I don’t believe I kept anything at all and mostly re-gifted the items here and there.
Pirates of Silicon Valley was fantastic.
Do people really care about this? It’s a series of (increasingly) silly movies. Han died in the 6th movie, which was like 3 movies and 6 years ago or whatever.
I picked up Nier Automata’s “Game of the Yorha” edition for $25 and I’ve been engrossed for days. Not sure how I missed it the first time around! I’m also looking at playing Nioh (it’s like $15 or $18 here) when I’m through with Nier.
I bought mine on black Friday 2014 and have gotten serious use out of it. I’ve actually been considering buying a newer model. It’s been less than five years but for me it certainly feels a lot longer. The really strong exclusives and a solid year of playing Destiny nearly every night has contributed to that.
17 years since Goldmember? Wow, where has the time gone? What have I done with my life?
Stunning and brave.
Ben Shapiro is not a member of the alt right, not even close. He was the number one target of anti-Semitism *from the alt right* during the 2016 election cycle. For fuck’s sake, he’s Jewish...
Absolutely this. I have seen Chinese tourists do some wild ass shit in hotel buffets (I live in Thailand where a majority of tourists are mainland Chinese). I once saw a guy put food on a plate and then take the entire buffet serving tray, leaving the plate with a few items of food behind for others. It can be…
I think parts of Cop Out are hilarious and other parts are really regrettable. It’s so close to being an actual good and funny movie though. Sean William Scott is hilarious in it. Willis and Morgan have solid chemistry (though Morgan clearly overacts and comes dangerously close to mugging). Unfortunately, it’s another…
