Normally, I would agree, but this week was pretty simple. The blue-haired girl read a comic and was jealous of the woman in that comic having a loving husband and is pregnant while still remaining cute & pretty. Brown haired girl assures her that she is indeed cute, and then stuffs a pillow underneath the blue haired

This really is one of those things that it is apparent wasn’t made by malicious intent but you still wonder how no one caught it before.

Somebody paid me to do this shit...

Yes.

I don’t actually understand why tags are replacing communities when they are pretty disparate features.

Perhaps the removal of communities at the same time is coincidental and will be reinstated when Twitch have modified/improved them in some way?

This. Also, it’s gotten very difficult to get ‘roll your own’ email delivered with all the anti-spam and very difficult to de-spam your incoming email.

As someone who has worked in hosting and internet security... Please don’t host your own email server unless you really know what you are doing. There are so many ways to abuse improperly setup email servers as sources of malicious internet traffic.

Americans are pretty notoriously anti-union just in general, and all you really have to do is tell people that they’re going to start paying more for shit and that scares them off. It’s not really surprising.

Hey, the CEO and a few higher ups need their severance. I mean, they just liquidated a company. That’s a lot of hard work that deserves a hefty payout. /x

It’s not enough to rely on consumer pressure to get devs paid severances when they’re axed like this. Those who want to see companies do right by devs should be regularly supporting and encouraging unionization efforts, long before things ever come to a head.

This is what a passive aggressive PR statement looks like.

They caved. It was always a question of when not if.

I’ve read similar things.  There is also the fact their best selling games were not their own IPs meaning a lot of the revenues went to the license holder.  Effectively they were doing okay(ish) but not good enough and certainly not good enough when the studio has a management problem.

The bank shut the company down, though I suppose that’s not as clear. That said - Hawley is getting a parachute and they are keeping a skeleton crew on staff. They have money on hand.

The WARN act payments would come out of the pockets of the people who shut the company down. I was at a company who was shut down by a bank, nearly 500 people lost their jobs over night. The bank that bought the company was required to pay every single one of us 2 months pay. The WARN act requires you to inform your

Friendly Reminder: DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY ANY FURTHER. No matter how much you love the series, they screwed over almost every single employee, and every employee involved in the TWD, supporting any further efforts they make that don’t put money into the people who got fired is a huge mistake

Uh-oh ....

Get Woke, Go Broke.
