Try finding balance, instead. Too small a government means large organizations can do what the hell they want and nobody can stop them. Too large a government means large organizations pay it off to do what they want.
I reported a photo that was a topless woman showing off her nipple rings. “Thanks for letting us know about this. We looked over the photo, and though it doesn’t go against one of our specific Community Standards, you did the right thing by letting us know about it.”
A Devolver representative tells Kotaku “this is stupid”
Not featured: Facebook’s investigation team letting me know that actual sexually inappropriate posts that I’ve flagged on facebook (including a cartoon diagram of intercourse, right in my feed) are perfectly fine and won’t be removed.
One of the main edicts of fascism is that people no longer have control over their own property. They cede (willingly or by force) their property rights over to the state. This is fascism, but no one would recognise it as such since it’s video games which come with a stigma that they’re a childish pursuit.
As a kid I always heard this as “So long ye donkey!”
I don’t know why either.
If you strike me down, I will become more powerful then you can possibly imagine.
I’d be glad if the judge had looked at the lawsuit, then on Bethesda, then again on the lawsuit and just said:

Honestly “you are encouraged to use nuclear weapons, and the repercussions for doing so are entirely good” is 100% my least favorite thing about Fallout 76. I know Bethesda never really seemed to *get* Fallout, but “Launching Nukes is good actually” is a baffling misstep I wouldn’t have expected.
Seriously, there are areas of this country where a stunt like this is going to result in gunfire.
Its frustrating to be sure, but towing these trucks out of the way is just going to result in violence. The kind of bro-truck, redneck mentality that leads to them ICE-ing, comes with a hearty helping of macho posturing as well.
Anyone can make a Felix the Cat cartoon, but not the one where he has a magic bag. Confusing, I know.
Blizzard, under Morhaime, canceled the Diablo 3 expansion, not Activision. It’s important to note that even before Activision executives began entering the company, Blizzard was making plenty of bad or questionable decisions.
Another thing to consider is that many of Blizzard’s missteps in recent years had nothing to do with Activision, including, most notably, Titan, which is seen as a massive waste of time and money despite the fact that Overwatch came from its ashes and was a megahit.
