“Don’t work overtime unless you’re paid for it, y’all. Protect your health. Companies don’t care about you.”Everyone should get this tattooed on their chest, or arm, or someplace else easily visible so they see it every morning when they get up and look at themselves in the mirror.

This isn’t even a HotTake, Hawley is a liquidator.

Hot Take: Former Zynga Staff Member Lays off majority of new Company exactly like what happened with Zynga 5 years ago.

For once, my favorite comic this week wasn’t GamerCat. In fact, GamerCat was third, IMO. Favorite was Awkward Zombie, because I love that joke no matter how many times it’s told, while the runner up was Penny Arcade. Though PA does get knocked down some points for forgetting Bubsy: Fractured Fairy Tales and White Men

My thoughts exactly. That or Pokemon go is releasing the new gen of Pokemon instead of creating a new series after xyz

There was a house on the corner of a small 4-stop intersection I would occasionally drive by when I was a teenager. One day, had its front yard filled with barbed wire and stacks of tires and all sorts of things and signs all saying rather nasty things about the city and local politicians. When I asked my mother about

The governing body for a ‘Sanctioned Magic Tournament’ is an organisation called ‘The DCI’ - which while formed by Wotc (the company) is comprised of players who have volunteered their time and have to prove their expertise to the rules to Judge (ref) tournaments.

But it isn’t unusual for a Governing body to pay the

If you’re ever confused about this whole thing, just remember that people pay thousands of dollars to sit in a stadium to watch grown adults play what is essentially a playground game for kids.

They’re professional athletes.
You wouldn’t call playing a sport professionally “an expensive hobby.”

Only 24 people in the entire world get an invite to this tournament. The Pro Tours (6 per year, only a couple hundred win invites) have a prize pool of $240K with only $50k going to the winner. The GPs (weekly, could be anywhere in the world) have a prize pool of $50k. The people who do well in these tournaments

And just like that, you’ve given me and I’d imagine many other people a good reason to subscribe.

This is a big step in the right direction. Add PS3 games to this and I’m sold.

It would be cool if they added a per-deck ladder. IE, you build a new deck, then enter that deck at rank ~50 (or maybe a few random ranks to help seed it). After every match, you’re allowed to swap out one or two cards.

I’ll admit I stopped playing a while ago (mainly because Skellige players LOUDLY complain any time their grotesquely OP cards get nerfed, and CDPR made a HUGE mistake with weather mechanics), but I enjoyed it WAY more than any other CCG I played

It really doesn’t have to be that way. I was discouraged from paying $5 per month, so now I’m paying $0 per month. Oh well, I have other stuff to play anyway.

I gave up this game long ago but still follow it, and I don’t understand why in fuck people have kept with it into the upper tiers. It is a BROKEN ass game, way worse than Gwent

I’m in between both of your sentiments. Most of these games are somewhere between 20-35 years old AND have been resold by Nintendo and jacked up prices in various forms multiple times.

I don't mind hacking when it doesn't hurt anyone else.  Go ahead and hack the mini classic systems all you want.  They have zero online functionality.   But the Switch on the otherhand....

I mean, literally none of this is surprising, but the thing is - WHY? The official Virtual Console emulators (which has already been confirmed to be what the Switch uses) are so half-assed and busted as hell. You could EASILY just port over any decent NES emulator and not only would it run better, but would probably

Nintendo Switch Online hasn’t even been out for a day and hackers have already found a way to upload new NES games to its existing library.
