It's worth noting that Notch, himself, has had little to no input on MC since it exploded. Mojang hired on a full time team of experienced game designers, artists and programmers; Notch went on to do what he did best, fiddle with interesting, impactful, (but basic) gameplay mechanics. His departure from Mojang has

Anyone who's ever driven anything so big as a Saab through Gotham equivalent New York should have very skeptically raised eyebrows right now.

ARMA III, scale of 1-10, measured in FPS. A score of 10 FPS represents some sort of hyper-advanced super computer from the future.

I get that, I've been loving it on my Wii U.

Even the PC/Mac/Linux version is on hold still?

You may want to consider Shovel Knight. I initially wrote it off as glib, but it's actually quite deep. Don't let its simple exterior, or over-eagerness to jump into jokes fool you; Shovel Knight acts as retro as possible without being afraid to cheat where retro doesn't cut it .

Are you looking for retro style, modern gameplay? Or retro gameplay and style?

From a long time player of TF2, thank you for the only non-self righteous answer to this legitimate question

Is that a zombie giving a piggie back ride to a zombie?

No, perhaps he should have just stuck to LiveJournal.

I mean, let's not let the boss off scott-free here (he made the poorest decision out of anyone). Cheating happens every day, why this warranted so much public outcry, or why we decided THIS was the one we'd all hate someone for is purely circumstantial to what turned out to be bullshit.

So I had read somewhere that 204863 (in addition to being Kojima's birthday) was also the gene model number (or plant transcription, "P.T.") for a certain plant, Populus trichocarpa (incidentally, also "P.T.") a type of poplar. This theory didn't go very far, aside from the P.T. connection it really didn't seem to

This was a real shame. The couch multiplayer is what got me RIGHT back into D3; it brought me back to Gauntlet Legends in the best way. We eventually got better at inventory management to the point where three of us could shuffle, swap, sell, and salvage all within about 10 minutes. It's not ideal, but for all of

Admittedly, this is a little over my head at this point. What are the cheating concerns, then?

Which is sort of their argument. It's going to happen, why not let the online community continue without the sort of cheating that comes after home brew for as long as possible? They'll release their mods, but only once it's inevitable, anyway.

Should totes bump this up to the article!

I saw, actually, after I wrote that comment. They are much less wearing on the eyes, but they're still all rigidly sticking to the uniform width roads with no actual variation outside of the theme swap. The entire game is racing down different curves of the same size road with 90 degree walls.

So this looks gorgeous, and ANY freeze frame from it could look like it was taken out of an SNES intro movie, but does anyone else feel like it might be lacking in variety?

New Yorker, here. I feel pretty safe about this one.

I could imagine. Does the device come packaged with software to make this a thing? Or is it third-party? Does the Rift just act like one big screen projected across two little ones, cropped out for the eye holes?
