I'm a little confused by your first paragraph, but the second is right on. All the noise in the world in comments sections won't cause nearly as much sway as directly contacting law makers. Every one of them has a contact page on their website.

Which is one of the larger problems. ISPs could charge higher prices for game bandwidth not because it's any strain on them, but because they know that they can squeeze more pennies out of gamers's pockets.

Steam Boxes are just PCs, so you should be able to use whatever USB controller you want. Valve's controller is just the suggested method for getting mouse games to work on a couch. Even better, Valve says they should be pretty hackable!

No one tagged the crotch. I felt obligated.

Halo MMO - $90 million - In an interview with IncGamers, Dusty Monk—a former Ensemble Studios engineer—claimed the studio's never released Halo MMO (codenamed "Titan") had a project budget of $90 million.

Full Throttle - $1.5 million - While tweeting about the record-breaking Double Fine adventure game Kickstarter, Tim Schafer revealed that his 1995 biker adventure game had a $1.5 million budget.

No. It's a dirty, overcrowded, hipster paradise. They used to only have PBR and a few other token selections (now they actually have a decent selection of beer). The arcade machines are good, decent in selection and well maintained, but the novelty wears off around your third overpriced drink.

Ugh, now if only Barcade weren't an unbearable pit of gross on weekends.

The light is centered on the camera directly, so the projection always looks the same no matter what you shine it on (the light expands at the same rate that objects shrink as they move away from the camera). I'm sure by the final version they'll offset the light.

Well, 1.5 games each, anyway...

I don't really see this as hand holding. Arrows like that have existed since NES and before. Think of any beat'm up from back in the day, whenever you stand still (or even occasionally at the very start of a level) an arrow appears telling you to move forward. It's not an instruction, it's a pace setter.

I agree 100% with this. I love the AC games, but haven't played 3 or Black Flag, and I never finished Brotherhood. It all became too samey, which is unfortunate, because they really set it up to be diverse. All the different ways you could approach a situation, all the different paths, and skills involved in

Oh I totally agree, and I know that it's silly to keep arguing this, but it's worth pointing out that volume is part of the size of a response and not just tone.

Fine; it still seems like everyone (original poster included) is just a little too eager to correct someone in as mean spirited a way as possible. (I has the bad feels, now)

Wooooa, hey everyone, back off. 9847593487452 posts yelling at the poor guy for mixing up the Holy Roman Empire with the Roman Empire. I know you're all quick to show off how good you are at history, but it was an honest (if not just a little sloppy) mistake. Try a little less scoff.

Oh without a doubt, but until the laws change I think it'll just end similarly, or prematurely. So long as Vimeo doesn't try to outgrow the wonderful site it's already become I'm happy.

The problem is that video hosting is a fantastically expensive enterprise to enter into. YouTube was still losing money when Google bought them. This year YouTube made up for almost a fifth of all internet traffic. It's not easy to meet that sort of streaming demand on a free service. Even if another start up did

If I remember correctly, 0+0 is the controller, [0 ] is the hardware, and 0 is the operating system
