And salt! Can't forget to salt the earth!

Actually, I think I might be.

Let's not forget

Looks like it's touching to me. I think the problem is that that wall is just bump mapped (not modeled or displacement mapped) so the point at which the pipe touches the wall isn't obscured by the rocks at all, it's just a smooth circle. Not great, but at least not as sloppy.

If it's anything like previous games, yes, they will die. It's not explicate, and the game never makes you watch it happen, or even confronts you much with it (it's sort of a whimsical, "oh my, half of my army just got eaten by that flower) but you'd have to be a little heartless not to notice, anyway.

I really wish I could have played Fallout 3 and Skyrim (and Oblivion) in their third person modes, but the janky, unresponsive, minimally blended animations were just too much for me. Don't get me wrong, I still got a massive amount of enjoyment out of these games, I just really would have loved to be able to enjoy

Well, Thorin's actually cosplayed by a woman... sooooo there's that!

I mean, one of the nice things about voxels is that they make super-low file sizes.

Glad to hear!

So I'm noticing that all of the people being shot have generic black guns. It'd be reeeeeeeeal disappointing if custom guns only show up on your own screen.

Well, first of all, "Pulled from Steam" doesn't mean "Pulled from Origin" (where it's still very much available for purchase). Second, "download and install" doesn't mean play; certainly not in this case, at least until the promised fix comes (EA released a statement saying they'd fix it, for what it's worth).

Well that depends what you mean. For a project this large, design by committee is a disaster. If you mean putting one person in charge who happens to have a history, and is involved with the field directly, then yeah! Sure!

I'm actually in total agreement with ANTVGM64... sort of...

I'm actually glad to hear that there will be continued support for Kinnect on computers. I know Microsoft has made a lot of controversial decisions in this upcoming generation, already, but this is a good sign for small developers who don't have the resources or know how to tangle with the tightly controlled console.

Want my thunderdome mini-game...

Ehhhh. While I'm not particularly keen to see the Australian accent go, I am happy to distance myself from playing as Mel Gibson.

I think you're right. His right hand was the thing that really confused me. It's being held off the surface of the console at, like, exactly a right angle. Completes the illusion.

It's like half of the teas shots were of the back of the machine, and the other half simply don't exist.

So can someone help me reconcile this with this?
