I’m here in the CFA motherland of metro Atlanta, and work and family stuff take me throughout the region. So I see locations that have the exact problems you describe and others that should be held up as an example to all. I think it just comes down to the owner/operator and the atmosphere he/she creates.
Yep. Between the rise in pricepoint and perceived growth in slowness, it’s also no wonder Chipotle, Panera, Shake Shack, etc are faring much better these days.

What I struggle to comprehend is how, in their quest to secure the Almighty Drive-Thru Dollar, all these fast food joints have trashed their dine-in experience, and yet they can no longer get the drive-thru running smoothly either.
