Yeah, 10% career three point shooter taking that shot with under 10 seconds to play is totally trying to run up the score

Pretty young women in athletic apparel and he gets to say things like “She’s pretty good for a girl” and “She’s a good golfer, but she’s only a 7?” Sounds like prime Trump viewing to me.

What kind of bored, nosy, meddlesome asshole is incensed enough by this to actually call in?

Their packs sales aren’t low, that’s my point. My point is that they’re driven by selling packs. And their current format isn’t scaring off anyone. The game is at an all time high. Every other GP has record-breaking attendance. The 8 people that walk into their local gaming store 3-4 nights a week and buy 3 packs each

You miss the fact that the point of this game is to support constructed formats only insofar as they sell packs of new cards. The real support from WotC is for limited formats, because those are the formats that sell booster packs, which is how Hasbro makes their money.

if you’d more than skimmed, you’d have noticed he admits de-Euroizing (as you put it) is a good, noble goal. Opening up the field to do so is bad because it disincentivizes those same smaller teams from improving their play in order to qualify.

“I always believe in the team I play for,” says the man that signed a lucrative one year contract in a league widely considered to be where European stars go to retire.

I think the argument is just semantic. He was the interim head coach, now he’s the “new” permanent head coach. By the letter of the rule, they’re not necessarily wrong, thus the initial approval for the early start. By the intent of the rule, though, it’s not unreasonable for the NFLPA to go “Come on man, really?” and

So the Jaguars realized their argument for early practices was pretty much a technicality and backed down when that was pointed out to them by the NFLPA.

Does anyone on the Deadspin staff get a writer’s vote for MVP? If so, who will they be voting for?

Uh, it didn’t actually ago around the world, it only went around his waist. Yet another misleading headline from Deadspin.

The “program” Lavar is referring to is his own. He didn’t mean bigger than Chino Hills Basketball, he meant bigger than his Big Ballers Brand bullshit.

They wear what can nominally be called shin guards, but they’re basically the same size as the gear U-10s wear, so it’s not like they’re doing anything except satisfying the bare minimum

Is there a more specific number out there for the revised settlement than “somewhere over $1 billion?” The link you provide is equally vague, but I’m just trying to do some back-of-the-envelope math.

it was less a taek and more a joke that missed the reference it was riffing on.

As cringeworthy as the injury itself is, the craziest part of the video is how calm Coleman remains while sitting there staring at his snapped shin, holding the damn thing straight with his hands. Wild.

you just know James Johnson ran out of frosting like, one and half cookies into his DunkAroos

so what you’re saying is they need to get Carmelo Anthony to waive his no trade clause and trade Jokic to get him back
