Won’t be seeing this film, only because the Ghostbusters bore the living shit out of me.

Frankly, I don’t condone that, either.
This somehow seems easier than the bullshit series of games we’ve set up for ourselves in the 21st century.
Anybody complaining that this movie spends time looking back, there are going to be exactly 50 million more of these. In the age of long-form storytelling (see MCU), spending some time looking back looks great when the entire picture is revealed.
Whoa. Does the blast bend the needle? That’s pretty intense. Really surprised they didn’t get that on camera. It definitely looks like the needle is bent in the vid.

Stephen King is one of my favorite people in this regard because he really isn’t concerned about adaptations in general. Of course he wants them to be good, but overall, he is OK with them being “whatever” because the source material will always exist.

I still reserve his evil plan manifests itself through betrayal. He wanted humans to evolve. He thought the Avengers held them back. He wanted to show him his Vision for the future, what life could be like as advanced humans. The meteor and his destructive plot only came after The Avengers assumed Ultron wanted…
