“But it does it with so much fear, such clear terror of criticism, that it ends up just feeling uninterested.”
I mean we all knew we would eventually get here, right?

Wait--what’s his crime again?
Yeah I get this one a lot—definitely not over here expecting Walter Cronkite on Kotaku, but maybe just, a little bit of parity? Like, maybe not making it so very obvious 100% of the time that it’s going to be veritable softballs for this president going forward? It’s incredibly disingenuous and takes away from what…
That’s a pretty deep assumption about me with no evidence. I’m certainly no Trump guy, but that doesn’t inform my disdain for ingratiating ANY leader quite like what is on display here, and what is certainly on the docket for the rest of his term. Can’t wait to find out if Biden watches speedruns.
I’ve seen very little evidence of Trump-loving the last 4 years in the press, especially on Kotaku, which makes this softball tactic for a president pretty obvious and pretty gross. Hamming up any public leader like this is disgusting.
It’s gonna be really weird being entirely up this president’s ass for 4 whole years.
It’s amazing that a really dumb non-correlation birthed this entire blog post/story. Sports journalism really can suck.
One thing is absolutely for-sure and not sspeculation: you picked the wrong site to share this angle. Yeesh.
John Hamm what have you done
A trailer so fucking confusing it just HAS to be Square Enix.
There is a distinct difference in a game that has something to say and a game that explicitly “has something to say.”
I wanna say this is absolutely meaningless but they are fixing Sonic so..
Not that this at all resembles that but, for me to pretend like “nobody cares” is flat out wrong. Somebody does.
Putting on my impartial face (and you should too if you’re going to comment) when I say:
“The HuffPost report said the fight broke out after protesters knocked a “Make America Great Again” hat off a Proud Boy’s head.”
Maybe don’t do that?
“But it’s worth waiting for the details to come out.”
Oh my dear goodness, how wrong you are about this.
Just like anything else in life, hopefully at some point you’re drawn to the act itself and it gives you peace. I’ve encountered various musicians in my life, but I’m always able to tune into those who truly love it. Likewise, I’ve been repelled by people who are “technically great” or are overly emphatic about…
Not meant for: “former smokers, or never smokers.” What am I missing here?
Sure, but if you were expecting a corporation or sports franchise to be altruistic, you’ll die holding your breath. Best to consider the outcome and how it works toward your cause.
A step in the right direction, to be sure.
As a Clevelander, knowing that the franchise will own distribution rights to Chief Wahoo so that sales will maintain (and probably rise), I can only imagine the fan posturing that is headed our way.
Edit: Also the timing on this, with Cleveland hosting the All Star Game in 2019, makes a ton of sense.
“At least we’re not Det—oh...”
