Maybe for weight training I can see how this could work. Everybody's body seems to work differently for putting on weight, both fat and muscle. I had a room mate in college who went to work out with me and he has always been skinny as a rail and it seems like he always will be, stopping just short of serious drugs.

@gfalco22: I used to own an iPad actually, had to sell it for financial reasons (shouldn't have bought it for financial reasons). I've seen it skid occasionally, but this was almost for every screen change. I'm not an Apple fanboy by any means, but I have yet to see the magic equaled.

Why can't any company aside from Apple master the smoothness in scrolling? The choppiness while rolling through categories is just unacceptable.
