He seems a fine actor, but a poor choice for this roll that also made poor choices in that roll. Especially since his reveal was such a major point in the movie.

I feel like the biggest letdown was that the guy they cast to play Ozymandius just looks 100% like a villain. The way they shot Watchmen through all those dark filters didn’t help either, but casting that Malfoy looking guy didn’t make for much of a surprise.

In their defense, I don’t think we understand today how little was known about sharks when Jaws came out. Just filming sharks live on camera is something that’s only been done since the 60s or so.
