I would live with that small possibility of inconvenience vs getting all my money stolen because someone was able to see me entering my PIN and stole my ATM card. Moreover, 2FA can be an opt-in feature. If you are worrying about losing your phone BUT not you ATM card, don’t use 2FA. It’s your money after all.

I am hoping bank ATM would use 2FA. Maybe Google should work with banks to use the Google Prompt functionality. Just popup a YES/NO question on my phone after entering my PIN at the ATM machine.
