If someone didn’t buy this game because you didn’t get to look at a 13 year old in a bikini, they’d be as shallow as the people who wouldn’t have bought it if it was uncensored, wouldn’t they?

“The story wraps up with a lot of missing plot threads” is a kind way of saying “the story is garbage nonsense with a ludicrous twist ending that only serves to inject cheap drama into everything you’ve just experienced and probably pissed a lot of people off.”
🤔
That was by the end of the game, when I realized how much I disliked it and it wasted my time. Also, to explain myself a little better, the person I was responding to was implying that I had difficulty with the controls. The controls weren’t the problem for me, I could deal with them well enough, the combat was just…
It’s definitely possible that the game is intended for a younger audience and that’s why I didn’t get it. I was 28 when I played it and I didn’t like the story or any of the characters. I was probably ambivalent about it all until I got to the ending, which for me was so terrible that it pushed my ambivalence over into…
I had no problem with the controls. I finished the game. To be honest, it was the ending of the game that made the story completely fall apart for me. But it sounds like you love the game, so I don’t know if I really wanna get into the details and trash something you love. ^^;
I don’t remember having any problem with the combat or the controls.
I played the original a few years ago and hated everything about it. Since then, I’ve been genuinely confused as to why so many people love this game. I was hoping that maybe a replay of the Switch remake could help me understand it a little better... but it sounds like that’s unlikely. This review saved me $50.
It’s really hard to say. Obviously they aren’t fictional characters, so there aren’t any copyright problems. And this easily fits under satire. Unless there’s anything in it that rises to the level of libel, it’s unlikely anything bad would happen to him. Perhaps there’d be an issue with using someone’s likeness…
Take your damn star.
That’s what I was taught to call it in law school. I think it might be a broader term than “living document” because it also applies to a method of statutory interpretation generally, not just an approach to the Constitution. It’s basically where you take into account what the law is trying to accomplish to interpret…
Petition to have him keep working on this game, except instead of the justices being twenty-something hipsters, they’re all birds.
Hooboy. Well, as one of the actual real-life lawyers in Kotaku’s comments, I guess I might as well throw down my opinion on this one.
I don’t know if you ought to link to that comment I made - it was written pretty haphazardly and if I could edit it today I would. In particular, it’s pretty easy to point out that at least some trans people do attempt to date without being upfront about being trans, as evidenced by the fact that those unfortunate…
“____ has aged poorly but it is still special to me” is basically my relationship with almost every 3D game made before the PS3 era.
Hmm, you’re half-right. “Spin-off” was probably the wrong word to use. But I don’t think of any of the remakes as mainline games, I think of them as exactly what Let’s Go is, a diversion for impatient fans in between the actual mainline Pokemon games.
The developers have confirmed they’re spin-offs, not mainline Pokemon games. They’re considered part of Generation 7 (same as Sun/Moon), not Gen 8. We ARE going to get Generation 8 on the Switch eventually though, it’s just a matter of time.
I....... I don’t even know what to say. I really don’t. Laugh? Cry? Be disgusted? Download it instantly? All of the above? I can’t even decide.
Tim, your videos are endlessly entertaining. <3
