Well that’s fair, but most of the people who took this as some kind of huge insult to free speech probably didn’t buy the game either.

What makes you think they’re catering to people who would “never buy the game” in the first place?
I’m sure you have already thought of this so the suggestion will be a stupid one, but is it impossible to open up the monitor and wipe it off? Any screws on the back to unscrew, anything?

Please let me know what else I can forgive people for if it helps you sleep better! Science shows that getting a good night’s rest helps improve mood and cognitive functions.
You seem upset.
It hasn’t been three years though, did you read the part of my comment where I said some of the tweets are from 2016/2017? It looks like people didn’t have to go that far back at all.
I would agree when it comes to the explicit GamerGate stuff, but it looks like at least some of the tweets people are mad about are from 2017 and late 2016.
Technically you’re right, but that doesn’t mean every public apology is disingenuous and cynical.
You mean deleting old posts and tweets? I mean, I’ve done that with stuff that doesn’t represent what I think anymore.
If his apology is honest, I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and let it go. I think it’s not really that hard to believe that someone’s beliefs can change over the course of several years.
The official championship format is always doubles, yes. There are a LOT of other formats that people play online, though, most of which are singles. The official championship format isn’t even the most popular one, it’s just the one sponsored by Nintendo.
Well, pros play to win. They don’t play for the sake of their emotional attachment to their favorite cute Pokemon. Even Sejun Park’s Pachirisu had nothing to do with him having a special love for Pachirisu, he used it because it filled an important role extremely well.
I’m not really sure how you could not follow me when I was being extremely clear. And I’m not mad, so there’s no need to accuse me of such. :)
Well, when they do an “updated” version, it’s always been a single game (Crystal, Emerald, Platinum, etc).
This is a little much even for them, though. It’s usually one beefed-up spin-off title, not two. The only justification I can think of is if it’s as completely different as Black 2 and White 2 were.
I am disappointed.

Shhh, Jango and the other GamerGaters only love the “because they wanted to” excuse when devs do something they like. They can’t handle it going in the opposite direction.
“If they don’t agree with it than it should be gone” is still very much something wielded by the other side though. This was the entire basis behind the GamerGate movement (which includes the fanatical censorship crowd) and their inability to handle opinions they don’t agree with.
