I’m very grateful to be in a position to do my part. A month ago I bought my first new car, a 2023 Mustang GT in a stick shift at 20 years old. I could have gone used and saved some money, but it’s really important to me to keep the manuals alive, and the only way to contribute is to buy new.

Hell to the naw. It’s a $3,700 car. The strategy to employ is to go see the seller. Offer him or her half of the asking price. He or she will get offended. Call back in six weeks when it’s still for sale.

It’s incredibly annoying that in my car, you have to use the touchscreen and go 2 menus deep to completely turn off the heating system otherwise, it still functions and sucks in whatever dust/stinky crap is going on outside the car. Like I said, these stupid systems are designed to run full time and not be turned off.
I used to work on the flight line as a aircraft mechanic and ramp agent. Ramp agents get daily safety briefings, and we're always told not to approach if you can't see the swirl on the cone in the middle of the engine. But it is always a really physical and boring job that can have long hours (I used to work 12-14…
Also: Flip down your sun visors and have the air only coming out at the windshield. The visors will redirect some of the air back and the windshield and help to clear it faster.
