May the souls of the departed rest in peace, and those that survived recover and be able to make sense of all this, & also be at peace.

2 winter tires are better than a stick to the eye. Plus, it doesn’t matter that much with FWD. The rear tires do some work in tracking things straight & braking, but it’s the front tires that do most of the work..

I dread shopping for a new refrigerator. I’d love a brown 1 but I’ll be lucky if it’s not stainless clad & lasts 10 years. I know that once the new 1 shits the bed, then it’s time to put in the trouble of hauling the old 1 out & hauling a new 1 in. It’s a shame that planned obsolescence is a thing these days.

That refrigerator would go perfectly in my 1960s kitchen with the built-in stove & oven & Dutch Modern cabinetry.

Kind of like having a Chevy & a Ford in the same garage

Meh, it’s a GM.  Minor things will break here & there but the 3.8 will live thru nuclear fallout.

Any teenager (I assume) that admits to his old man that he’s afraid of a particular car is probably someone that you can trust. At 16 I was ready to race with a LS6 Chevelle SS or delivery truck if I had to. It’s a good thing that I didn’t get certain opportunities at a younger age. I may not be here telling those

A naughty Bimmer Boy didn’t change the water pump when he was supposed to lol.

Can I say that this is a decently written ad? It was to the point, specifying what this is, what is included, under what conditions this was being offered, & the location of the car without keyword diarrhea. This dealership has not disappointed me with huuuuuuge-a hoopla.

Getting parts for this will be next to impossible after a few years.  David Tracy’s backyard doesn’t have nearly enough unobtainium.

If it’s anything like the beer that’s made in that city, then I’ll pass.

A few friends of mine have learned that the hard way.  I confirmed this the easy way in a few trips Downstate.

After reading some comments, I realize that I should’ve picked up on the suspiciously unmolested interior of a car that is claimed to have been a cop car, & I have potentially mixed feelings.

Here I thought that North Tonawanda, New York has (or had) the only overzealous copper around. But, to his credit, the NT police doesn’t have cop musclecars, so his, um, zeal, is all his own.

Why does this have to be a goddamn slushbox?

It’s too bad that airplane engines aren’t made out of Jeeps.

OK Willie!

Back-up sensors.  I don’t really even need the camera, tho I wouldn’t necessarily turn it down.

I’ll take 10 ¢ wings any day! Wing prices have skyrocketed around these parts over the past several years. A full dollar for 1 wing? Ridiculous! (tho that doesn’t stop me from buying them)

Today’s NA V6s have more HP: hell, some NA 4s.  A Honda with a VTEC would spank this.
