I’ll take the el Camino, or the early ‘60s Buick.

Today’s candidate is not something that I care to deal with for any price. But I understand & accept that some folks dig it. Even for them, the asking price seems a skosh high. Nice car if you carry a wrench in your pen pocket (i.e. you will use that wrench frequently), but knock it down a few thousand if you expect

This makes business sense.

Mine loved his R-I-D-Es more than people food. I miss him every day.

My price is 20000-25000 bucks tops, unless it comes with the canine alarm system. It looks out of proportion with the top up. Otherwise, I like this batshit crazy concoction. It’s worth hooning or driving to IHOP for an early bird special in white dress shoes.

Cold in the winter (unless heated), hot in the summer (unless cooled), as durable as a paper bag - I am not a fan of leather seats either. Heating elements break, & leather on leather is not desirable if it involves just daily driving. Cloth seats since at least the beginning of the millennium have generally been damn

You weren’t about to let that “slip”, were you?  What have you been smoking?

David Tracy is up for the challenge, even if all that he has is the front axle from a Subaru.  Watch the shit actually work too.

No FWD kind of defeats the purpose of a Jeep, but that lack doesn’t damn it outright.

I’m going with the Spark. Power to weight & torque to weight ratios are better. The Mirage may be a skosh bigger, but I trust the Bowtie more than the Diamond as far as reliability.

Agreed, BUT the Malibu is not available with all 3 pedals.  This would be a toss-up for me.

It’s because the intake from the K&N air filter is coated with K&N air filter oil.  It may not kill a Honda engine, but who knows what this  has done to the MAF sensor or other sensors?

Yup.  Saturn had its own parts bin.  Then it got its own J body.  (Fucking Cadillac got 1 so why not?)  Then it became an Opel.

Aside from the automatic transmission?  Touch screens!

This. I regularly forget what I have for breakfast. Forcing the key to stay with the car while it’s running is a Good Idea ™. I accept that some folks are diligent about keeping their keys by their sides at all times. I’m 1 of those folks - most of the time.

You’re going to trust a person who has difficulty turning a key to operate the rest of the car?

If keyless starting were the norm, then some car manufacturer would come up with the bright idea of using a key to start the car for security or other some such. In other words, manufacturers would find a way to make a big deal about twisting a key, &, more importantly, find a way to make some cash money on it.

Point taken. A PPI may indeed put the mechanic in an epileptic seizure. But if major repairs require no more than duct tape, then I’d go for it, that is if I were in the market for this. I can let go of 4 grand if I can hoon & possibly daily something.
