I thought that it ended with Andy Rooney being curmudgeonly (but usually on point) about something.

Hmm, this is on my way to Pano’s & ETS. Seats are actually in better condition. Maybe a coffee can with hose clamps would take care of the hole in the muffler for awhile.

I notice that was your suede & not leather that was in good shape.

It’s “what the hell” money for something that runs well enough. The condition of the leather seats is 1 reason that I don’t like leather seats in a car. Still does not take this into CP territory as long as foam isn’t sticking out, in which case duct tape.

Very clean machine. Asking price seems within range of reasonableness.

I don’t find this excessively difficult to believe.  Bleach is a good dissolver & softener for some things.

Vinegar - another underrated cleaning agent

My big beef with those is what may be going on behind them.  Oh, & eventually they crack & then there’s stuff going on behind them!  Tile can last literally centuries.

I was going to recommend peroxide.  It’s not a silver bullet, yet is underrated as a cleaner.

No I, um, wont.  Oops.

A broken Bimmer is not necessary for a woman to call me a son of a bitch.

I usually read both Graverobber’s insightful presentation & the ad. But sometimes 1 or the other is all that one needs in order to vote, sometimes even just a picture.

Only counterpoint that I can bring up is electrical. But the E46 is relatively not “complicated”, so there’s that. For awhile I can live with power window motors running slower than molasses rolling uphill on a cold day both ways.

So “commuter car” is a euphemism for slushbox.

Wow! Nice little sporty car. I like it!

Meh, it doesn’t hurt.  Every little bit potentially helps, really or perceptively.

I can’t quite do it for the price. Beautiful example of a practical vehicle, and well maintained. But it’s 30 year old technology & not collectible (yet, anyway). The Nice Price is probably within negotiatory range.  Mixed feelings about the wheels tho.

No Dice: Crapolla.

Can we expect the “C8" to be close behind?  It will probably be a cold day in Calcutta before the General realizes that he really screwed the pooch, but one can hope, right?
