I agree that criteria haven’t been clearly defined, but I don’t think that they were meant to be defined too clearly. To me it’s an open-ended discussion. I see comments as very subjective and supported pretty much only by the commentor’s justification.

I have a beef with the trend specifically with taillights.  Not only do murdered out such not look good, but they also don’t look safe.

So a swap is theoretically bolt-in.

Nice vehicle aside from missing pedal & silly taillights, but more than 1 or 2 pubes above NP.

CP just because you put in an LS but forget to put in a pedal.

No source, just speculation. We know that a 5.3 L LS is capable of a little more than 303 HP, so my guess is that they took a truck block & hobbled it somewhat.

The Corvette cross flags did appear on some other ‘60s Chevys. I’m not necessarily trying to justify such on today’s candidate, but there is a precedent for this.

The rule of thumb that I’ve heard is that you don’t want more than 300 HP in a FWD vehicle.  So I’m guessing that this particular LS is detuned, & may be undetunable.

The Colonnade A bodies are a favorite of mine.  Unfortunately, they are the epitome of the Malaise Era for GM.

I’m going against the grain today, as I sometimes do. This is a post Malaise Era vehicle with an LS. It’s a potential collectible, tho probably for a limited demographic. Aside from possible wear or schmutz on the center armrest, it presents itself quite well. Parts probably still abound. The blue paint is beautiful.

Solid mechanicals, nice shade of red, next to nothing to maintain, low unobtainium content.  All for “what the hell” money.  SUVs are not my bag, but it doesn’t mean that it’s not a hell of a deal.  Assuming that the frame is not made of Swiss cheese & the pumpkin is not full of sawdust, this will make someone pretty

That’s awesome! Aside from weird things like calling Oldses Chevys, or Opels, they did some cool things. Have you heard of the Mexi Monte? GM of Mexico made a Monte Carlo SS in the mid ‘80s. 350 (& not 305), LS wheels (the checkerboard kind), no rear spoiler, Pontiac Grand Prix dash, & of course 4 speed stick!

Fox body IIRC, so probably hand brake, tho something tells me that this is the kind of car with the parking brake next to the clutch or regular brake pedal.

I imagine that the networks that use a 169 IP address range wouldn’t exactly be considered mission critical!

Clean the house too before she returns & you may just slide thru. Better yet, pay an expert to do it!

Plus you assume that people know how to bring up a terminal window in Windows, or even know that it ever was a thing.  That is potentially a big Step 1.

True: could be 10.x.x.x. or 172.16-31.x.x (I had to look up the latter), or the pseudo 169.x.x.x that Microsoft seems to love lol.

It’s not worth the divorce your spouse would surely demand if you bought this.

or speed holes

Parts cars with missing titles don’t cost cost 4 figures. You don’t know what you got.
