I’m not really into League so correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m fairly sure Ekko pretty much always sported a mohawk (and most of the time with straight hair), and didn’t have the Killmonger swoop until the Arcane animated series, which definitely released more than 3 years after Black Panther.

Just sitting here nodding in approval. All of this.

I dig the swoop from a stylistic perspective, but I totally cosign on this take. It’s tired and overdone, and there are droves of other styles that can and should be explored. The swoop is in style so it makes sense that it would just turn into a go-to for a lot of entertainment, but it’s always nice to see a bit more

While that’s absolutely true as a blanket statement, it’s a total cop out in this context. There are plenty of different hairstyles to choose from that are just as, or even less labor- and/or resource-intensive from a development and performance standpoint. This isn’t simply a performance hack, it’s hanging onto a

I’m so down to see her tackle a bleak, serious role here.

But I’m about equally down to see her just play Moira Rose being completely tone deaf to the seriousness of the situation and constantly spouting her first world problems while everyone else is just trying to survive haha

Panic and doom-n-gloom is just a big part of gaming fandom in general haha. Things will even out and they’ll forget they were even mad in the first place.

Nah, I use it to save cool pics and record video clips that I totally plan on trimming and posting somewhere but never actually get around to doing it so they just pile up on my hard drive until I eventually and gradually clear them out because I’d done much cooler things since saving them that renders them not as

Yeah I wouldn’t expect them to actually use the same actor, but their voices are so close they might as well have haha. Would’ve been nice to hear an English VO that more closely matches the personality of the Japanese one.

She’s essentially Juri cosplaying FANG meets Voldo haha

AKI Man was legit my favorite character to use in the game along with Han Zo Mon haha.

Seriously though, I dunno why they didn’t just get Jessica Straus to pull double duty in voice acting; AKI not only seems Juri-esque in personality but they sound damn near the same haha.

Her Japanese VO actually gives off a completely different feel; she seems older, more refined, less outwardly psychopathic. I think

One of my best friends who I’ve always played fighting games with tends to gravitate toward the most obnoxious characters in every game and proceed to play them obnoxiously and effectively (he was a FANG main in SFV and mains JP in this game).

This made my goddamn day hahaha

Pretty cool that he’s into it, but he’s talking pretty big for a Ryu main. Calm down, bruh.

Yup only training mode for him. And he only picks female characters as training dummies.

Technically it did through the Street Fighter Collection on both of those consoles, but it was after the game was highly relevant since several other SF games had released in the meantime, and both consoles were on the tail end of their lifecycles. Kind of odd too considering the 3DO version of the game was released

I think when it comes to this a lot of people fall into the category of either topping the list with Super Turbo or 3rd Strike. I’m the latter. I definitely understand why Super Turbo is considered the GOAT by many, if anything because of the way it’s been able to stand the test of time and still be engaging, but to

Agreed, it’s almost tantamount to just making SF2 one entry.

It’s Super Turbo at #1 (Turbo is #5); no one really had that game at the time because the only console you could get it on was the Panasonic 3DO, so it became real arcade favorite.

SF2 Turbo is at #5, Super SF2 Turbo is #1. I don’t really consider it the best, but I understand why many do.
