Give us the bun, Levi.

I honestly also love how the characters look and I adore this hair style but as much as I found it unique in the beginning, it now feels super generic since it’s so over used. I hope our ‘Prince of Persia’ is the last big name rocking the hair style... For now at least.

I would rather see a dozen more killmonger dread dos than another single generic protagonist crewcut

My favorite part is when she yelled “It’s webbing time!” and webbed all over the bad guys.

Maybe I’m just deadened to anything that isn’t truly deep hurting thanks to decades of MST3K and Rifftrax but this movie just seems bad in a mundane, boring way, while everyone is trying really hard to convince themselves it’s bad in a funny or super weird way.

Dracula Untold(2014) - budget 70M, worldwide gross 217M

Maybe now we can say that Meritocracy is the biggest lie of humanty...

Want the best part of this? It is the same writer, the story is made by the same person that worked on Morbius. They literally rewarded mediocrity

You realize the Morbius Re-release is one of the greatest cases of a large corporation getting punked in the history of PR.

Of course. Around the world, people think hockey is the national sport in Canada. But in fact, Quebec-bashing is the most popular.

The entire show will be a bunch of normal humans trying to teach him genuine emotion and actual empathy.  He will fail.

Not sure why you think those are incompatible positions. People can contribute positively to society and also be terrible. Utilitarian much?

Why is he so frigging creepy looking? Those weird, dead eyes that seem to fix on nothing. That forced, fake smile.

will they teach him how to smile like a human?

It’s accounting fiction, but the film industry has been doing that for decades.

It’s pretty simple. Because The Marvels is a failure on the level of what theatrical Marvel movies are supposed to be. And is troubling from the point of view of the health of their entire market segment.

Wonka also pulled in its dollars despite the fact movie musicals are on the outs nowadays

Yikes, does something this self-evident really need to be explained to people? If so, let me add that Wonka has already made $150 mil globally, and is on pace to make more globally than The Marvels by, likely, a hefty amount. It will be more successful irrespective of budgets.

The question is why are KotFM and Napoleon considered successes versus the Marvels. Similar budgets et al.
