“Harley has sort of made retro feel current by just never changing”. Wow! What a statement! I had never thought of it that way. Harley does have a specific style for each kind of bike they make.

Tranny is original. The dealer mistakenly had the engine overhauled at 97,000 miles. I took it in because there was a rattle coming from the exhaust but the engine ran perfectly. They said the engine needed to be rebuilt so I reluctantly said OK. Two months later it arrived back from Milwaukee and was reinstalled. The…
30 degrees lean angle.
And why are you commenting then?
It is just your own uninformed opinion. If you really wanted to know, you would try to find out the facts, instead of repeating the same tired old cliches.
Harley-Davidson exists because over a quarter million people buy them every year. Just because you don’t like them doesn’t mean no one else does. Now, do you have a actual question about the Low Rider S or are just here to troll? And why are you reading this review if you are not in the market for a Harley?
This is a cruiser with 115 ft-lbs of torque, dual front disc brakes, premium suspension, 26.6" seat height and 30 degrees of lean angle.
All trolls say they are only being curious when they are actually being sarcastic. As you well know, curiosity killed the cat, so be careful. At the risk of feeding a troll instead of starving it, I will answer some of your questions for the benefit of others who may be reading. The Low Rider S will do 0-60 in 4…
Dual discs are better than single ones, but it is a heavy bike: 644 lbs dry compared to 528 lbs dry for the Octane. Much more powerful than the Octane: 115 ft-lbs vs 76 ft-lbs. It depends if you want a Harley or a Victory. The Octane will be sportier whereas the Low Rider will get you off the dime in a hurry.
Indian Scout 72 ft-lbs, Victory Octane 76 ft-lbs, Harley Low Rider S 115 ft-lbs. Does that answer your question?
Excellent choice!
Comes with a rain cover.
Nothing is happening to their demographic. They are doing very well, thank you. Sold 265,000 bikes last year. Sport bikes is just not their thing. They leave it to EBR.
You won’t see any of these on the streets here either.
You can also use the passenger foot pegs to exercise your legs on long rides.
It will take sales away from the Diavel, not HD.
I am not a one percenter but I ride a 2007 Harley Softail Custom (144,000 miles) and a 2015 KTM 1190 Adventure R (10,000 miles) like a one percenter (I got two speeding tickets on my Harley in the last few weeks). I have been thinking the 1190 R would make a excellent bike for MCs. It does 150 mph on the freeway and…
People who ride motorcycles are not that stupid. Rich guys do not buy bikes just to park in their living room. If they ride, they know what they like. People who will buy the XDiavel need to have the means to buy it, but also must like sport bike performance and a cruiser like position. There are not too many people…
Looking for a job? Just kidding! I agree with you completely. I had exactly the same comment on the Low Rider S review by John Burns. Great review, but full of jabs because it wasn’t a sport bike. The things a cruiser rider wants to know get left out.
One is an expensive Italian sport bike with very high performance. The other is a American muscle bike with mediocre performance. You want a sport bike or a cruiser? There is no comparison between the two.
