Shotwell’s no better. She is as big of a Musk kiss-ass as anyone. Ask the women who were harassed by Musk.

Meta’s headcount is still higher after those layoffs than it was before 2021. And there are lots of other companies out there that are happy to snap up talent like this.

He specifically offered 3 months, so there would be a pretty difficult case to make for denying any of these people that severance.

But that’s what Musk said he wanted. And here he is, firing someone for their free speech.

But what happened to “Absolute Free Speech”?

Charging for a bauble to display on your account is fine. But the way Musk and his fans were going about it, it could never not be the same blue checkmark. The problem Musk was solving in his head was the idea that there is a “landed gentry” of verified users, and that this creates a classist division of haves and

Twitter can’t even verify that Lockheed Martini isn’t the real Lochheed Martin. I wouldn’t expect them to verify who these people are.

It’s... it’s almost like something has changed from pre-Elon Twitter to now. But I just can’t seem to put my finger on it.

Your comments are not valid in the least.

“Seriously, what is the difference in sitting in an office or sitting at home?”

In San Francisco? Bullshit. Anyone who has the chops to get hired there can get hired somewhere that they don’t treat the workers like shit.

Musk is far too stubborn to let petty things like, “No one wants to work here,” and “Everyone quit,” stop him.

Unless you’ve been following the story, you probably still think of the blue checkmark as “Twitter has verified that this person is who they say they are,” and not “Twitter has collected $8 from this person.”

But what would you propose he do?”

That’s a lot of words to say, “Not facing any real consequences.”

Elon, I think he’s a brilliant engineer.”

Real “Yet you participate in society,” energy you’ve got there.
