I cannot take anyone seriously who claims that anyone will “silence conservative voices” anywhere. People claim this, yet somehow are unable to provide examples of Twitter or Facebook doing so purely because they’re “conservative voices,” and even handwave away the evidence of Facebook putting their thumb on the scale

“The whole point of almost every democratic government is to find consensus and compromise with people who might have the worst opinions you’ve ever heard but are still part of the same society you are.”

You do now if you want to post it to Twitter. Twitter is more than free to set whatever kinds of rules they want to for posts on their service.

The dumbest thing about all the “mRNA vaccines are bad, mkay!” lies is that, there are other vaccines based on more traditional vaccine technology. Get the J&J one.

I’m getting mine next week. I would have gotten it this week, but why take the risk of side effects, and wasting a day off?

Once agin, this just goes to show that if you vote Republican, you’re endorsing these shitty views, and are yourself a piece of shit.

No. It’s not too new to point out that the “art” is absolute fucking shit, and has tainted the idea of NFTs on top of the environmental destruction they cause.

“You can in real life sell your BAYC NFT for at least 200k USD”

But this isn’t Anime. He didn’t just tweet out a clip of an Attack on Titan scene. He tweeted out a clip doctored with his murder fantasy.

“Owning the image of the NFT does not confer the benefits of the NFT.”

“I defend Kotaku quite a bit, but this one is a missed opportunity to discuss culture and technology’s influence on art.”

“Just imagine a popular band releases NFTs for a song. The NFT owners could make passive income from airplay, sales or streams of said song”

All the NFT people have is a picture, too. Sorry, but trying to claim that it’s like taking a picture of a physical object is a comparison that falls flat on it’s face. When I take the picture of the car, I don’t have the car. When I save the picture the NFT points to, I have the picture.

“How do you propose we compensate artists for their work fairly?”

“Simple googling shows transportation and electricity are half of carbon emissions. Both of which us, the end consumer, have huge influence over.”

You mean like when Kathy Griffin had that picture with Trump’s severed head?

There are some very legitimate gains that were had here, too. One was the outright rejection of a “two tier system”, where existing employees make wage gains, but newer employees end up with far less in wages and benefits. Unions, standing in solidarity not just with current members, but future ones as well, helps to

“Did it not matter when someone from the left did something similar to Trump?”

So? Even if it was just “low rung edgelord shit posting,” that’s nowhere near acceptable to do to a coworker.

“He may have a genuine defense”
