I think you read that backwards. The people that own these cars are wealthy, so nothing will happen to their cars, even when other wealthy people have a legitimate complaint about it.

Most general aviation single engine piston aircraft are not terribly complicated. The thing that kills most pilots is VFR flight into IMC leading to CFIT, acronyms... we love em. Basically they continue visual flight into inclement weather and smack into the ground.
