All I remember about JC2 is spending hours in my parachute, visiting hundreds of same-looking towns to blow stuff up; spending hours in some vehicle, trying to finish the racing challenge; a ski resort; the Mile High Club; and riding a nuclear missile at the end.

And here I thought Valve decided to back down on their policing because of controversy surrounding VNs that were disallowed because of implied sex, while plenty of sexually explicit games were left alone, thus losing VN developers to GoG. I wasn’t aware Valve was under criticism for disallowing Nazi simulators.

I hope they’ll eventually re-release the first Nier game. I’ve been interested in it ever since Automata, but getting a physical copy is really hard these days, and for some reason I can’t buy a digital copy on PSN.

Which Plot Twist does “Become As Gods” spoil exactly?

I don’t remember where, but I’ve eaten cereals in hot milk before, so there are people outside the US who do it.

You’re not very bright are you....

What IS pretty ironic is you refusing to read what people are actually writing, instead making up bullshit that you want to argue against, and then pretending you’re “capable of learning”. Since you have no interest whatsoever in doing so, let alone dealing with positions contrary to your own, you’re not.

And we’re under no obligation not to point out to them that’s the wrong choice to make.

    You make good points.

Coming from someone who clearly has no responsibility and uses dishonesty and defamation as a regular means to derail discussions, that’s rich.

    “Why change now?”

This is just another example of Valve punting away all responsibility.

Technically, you can enjoy a tearing-free game without G-Sync or Freesync. It’s the lag that happens when your GPU can’t keep up with your monitor’s refresh rate that’s a problem, and that’s what G-Sync and Freesync try to address.

I’m looking into buying a 4k G-Sync screen with HDR. The only ones I can find are 144 Hz and cost almost $3000, which is more expensive than my 4k gaming PC was.

I agree that women in video games have no choice, since they’re fictional characters. But the same also applies to the men, doesn’t it?

By that metric, every successor in a game series would be a copy paste effort. The whole point of having a game series, is that they’re supposed to be similar. I don’t buy Mario Kart if I want to play Forza or GTA, after all. Calling them “copy paste effort” would be missing the point.

I don’t really disagree with anything you’ve said, but what makes this game truly special for me, are the quests. Especially the side quests.

I think calling ALttP a “copy paste effort of the original Zelda” is an exaggeration. The game has plenty of qualities that make it stand out as a game of its own, such as quests and puzzles, a richer variety of items, a more complex story, and dungeons and boss fights that feel different from one another.

I agree ALttP is one of the harder games. I had to use a walkthrough to finish it myself.

As long as they don’t know you have a tattoo, there’s nothing wrong. Some hotels may have an onsen, though, which could be slightly problematic if you chose the establishment specifically for its onsen, or if you want to benefit from it and forgot about the tattoo taboo.
