The most unforgivable death in the Mass Effect Universe is Emily Wong...they killed her off in a friggin’ Twitter feed.

Same here. I recently got the re-release (snagged it for twenty dollars, and hadn’t played the DLC yet, so I’m satisfied with the purchase). Played through the whole thing in four days on a non lethal playthrough, immediately started a new game for high chaos. I forgot how much I loved this game. Between the sequel

This makes me unreasonably happy. I’ve always been fascinated by the sky; my favorite Ghibli movies are Porco Rosso, Castle in the Sky, and Kiki’s Delivery Service, just because of the skies. And I’ve always been one to stop and note a particularly nice cloud-scape, much to the befuddlement of my friends. “Hey guys,

This was the greatest thing I’ve seen all week. Thank you.

No way Scooter’s dead. I won’t believe it!

I went with Triss, mainly because the Witcher 2. But then the stuff with Yen played out and I was like... “okay, I can see why there are ballads about these two.” As for Ciri, I got the Witchers Forever ending. As for everything else: Radovid won, which was bad news for pretty much anyone who wasn’t human. I screwed

Now playing

Yes! “Once Upon A Time in the West” is probably one of my favorite movies. Another borrowed element would be the shot of Ganon trying to lift his gun but ultimately dropping his gun (similar to Henry Fonda trying to reholster his gun) after getting shot.

Wait, you sent him to escort and lost him? That’s supposed to be the most surefire way to keep him alive, if he’s loyal. Either that or take him with you to confront the Reaper Baby(once again, if he’s loyal, any unloyal teammates you take get auto-crushed by wreckage), because every time I’ve left him to ‘hold the

Was that the Riddler riding a Balrog?

Temple of Osiris, nice. I’ve been wanting to check that out. And Limbo, why not? I haven’t played it in a few years. I might check out Ascension, even though my PS3 is getting full and I’m not really a fan of the series...it’s free so I can’t really complain, lol.

So glad you mentioned the game’s environmental stories. One of the most affecting ones I found was while following a trail of dead Mirelurks to the skeleton of a small child huddled in the corner of a Vault that had been overtaken by said Mirelurks. Another good one is the Rube Goldberg setup you can find in one of

Well, if you’re not afraid to ge a bit crazy, and you’re willing to incorporate some fiction not portrayed in the picture: What if the TARDIS is a representation of The Dark Tower?

This is shaping up to be the video game version of this image:

Since we’re talking easter eggs, what are some other cool ones people have found (other than the big Lex Corp and Queen Industries logos)? A few I noticed was an open chat window between Oracle, Huntress, and Black Canary on a computer screen in the clock tower; one of the militia goons saying something about a swamp

My choices were pretty much identical to yours, except for the flower. There was a scene right before that where Sasha said something like, “Sure thing, buddy!”, and I took that to mean, “Hey...could you please back off a bit?” Maybe I overthought it.

Let. Us. OUT.

Announcing Mass Effect with Johnny Cash? FUCK YES! Gives it a real ‘frontier’ feel.

“What can you know about saving the world, silly? You’re but a Witcher. This is my story, not yours. You must let me finish telling it.”

Lol, I’ve seen a lot of comments and articles the last few days from people who were 9 or 10 when the first film came out (I was ten at the time, as well), and its crazy to see how universal the feelings this movie conjurs in that age group are.

Ouch. Since I initially made this comment, I’ve completed the game and since I’ve started playing from the after credits save point, I’ve noticed a few more problems, one of the more annoying ones being chunks of the mini-map not showing up.
