I'll never understand why designers off their stuff up for free to those who can clearly afford an expensive outfit.

I wonder if the lack of people beating the game on PS3 could simply be attributed to players not signing in? I know when I play my PS3, I rarely actually sign in unless I'm playing multiplayer. My 360 automatically logs me on.
Ah, glass physics. I still remember freaking out the first time I broke glass in GoldenEye64. When I got my hands on World Craft (the editor that came with the original Half-Life), shattering glass was the first thing I learned how to make. I got excited again with Red Faction, watching first bullets holes appear and…
This happens to me all the time. I'll wake up with my arm underneath me, completely asleep. I then try to turn over, the entire time worrying I'm going to turn the wrong way and break my arm.
My thoughts exactly. The Dark Tower series alone takes up a shelf and a half at my local Hastings.
Ten patties!? I once ate a triple meat w/ cheese from Whataburger and felt horrible afterwards (it also had jalapenos and bacon on it, so that might have made things a bit worse).
Gotcha, and I guess that's cool for people who like that sort of thing. I've never really been a big fan of fighting games for that reason, though. Memorizing frames of animation and picking them out of a group melee is just a little too hardcore for my tastes, lol. I kind of straddle the line between 'button masher'…
The thing that broke combat for me was the fact that you couldn't break an attack to counter. Also, everything seemed much less responsive, and the bat claw never seemed to quick fire in the right direction.
Even Roger Ebert seemed to think it was okay...
Agreed, and would add the Uncharted series as a whole is more fun on easy. It's basically like an action movie, giving you the freedom to run and gun and melee rather than hugging the first piece of cover you come across when you enter an area.
You're not alone. In addition to the horrible six axis stuff, the "taking itself way too seriously" story killed the game for me.
Last for me was the Independence Day soundtrack.
Hisaishi is a master. I owned the soundtrack to Princess Mononoke long before I ever saw the movie. I loved it. Alas, I lost it somewhere along the way and can't find it anywhere for a reasonable price. Last I checked on Amazon a new copy goes for 105 dollars.
I picked up the first episode when it was free on XBox Live a couple weeks ago, and loved it. I'm planning on getting the PSN season pass when '14 for '14 finally goes live. The 360 version was a bit choppy, though, so keep that in mind. I can't imagine the PS3 version performing much better. I'd imagine if you have…
Has anyone here played the Deus Ex Director's Cut? Are the redone boss fights any good?
Probably "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind". It's a pretty common mistake people make about the movie. She's wearing leggings, but the color is only a few shades away from her skin tone.
Can you come to Lake Jackson? I recently saw a bunch of wild hogs grazing in a field, about half a mile down the road from a residential area with an elementary school. That's some scary shit.
That DLC has the potential to be devastating. It also features her friend, Riley (mentioned at the end of LoU), and what happens to her.
