Hair is still a pretty big issue for most games. The PC version of the new Tomb Raider made a go at more realistic hair with TressFX, but from what I hear it was still a bit odd looking.

The game looks amazing through out. The cut scenes do have a bit higher fidelity, but they're all entirely real-time, in engine. I was honestly surprised how good the game looks on an aging console, and how well it performs. The only draw back to this is the load time when you first boot up the game (it can get up to

I figure emotional moments are different depending on who you talk to. The first time a game ever made me feel something other than 'this is fun' was Saria saying goodbye to Link on the bridge and giving him the first ocarina in OoT.

I seem to remember Turok 2 on N64 having something like this, via cheat codes. It was novel for about five minutes, but once the action heats up, the screen pretty much becomes a confusing mess of vertices and it becomes difficult to tell where one thing ends and another begins.

I kind of like the designs too, but for my money, a large part of Neverending Story's charm (and other movies like Legend, Excalibur, Labyrinth, Big Trouble in Little China and the like) is just how 80's they are. They may have been corny, but they had heart.

Anything that had to do with Husks in that game was a nightmare on Insanity. Horizon nearly did it for me. I never threw anything though. I just kind of do this thing where I squeeze the controller and curse through clenched teeth, before sitting back and shaking my head. Declarations of 'this is bull sh*t' or 'so

I think it's like some unwritten law that Jean Reno automatically gives whatever he's in ten automatic cool points.

The lack of Bastion, Shadow Complex, Lost Odyssey, and Forza is pretty glaring. Exclusives should get priority, I think, with Multi-plats maybe getting their own article or a sub-section, or being restricted to the platform they perform best on...Skyrim on PC, for example, or Bayonetta on 360 (I hear the PS3 version

People keep bringing up "Sucker Punch", and I suppose it's fair to worry about Snyder's portrayal of women based on that film, but personally, I thought Antje Traue as Faora was easily the most bad ass character in Man of Steel.

Losing Tali Zorah during the suicide mission in Mass Effect 2 and thinking that consummating the romance may have played a part in it (she's not feeling well, so she's unable to do her job well, and gets killed). Of course, it doesn't play a role (I picked the wrong fire team leader, as I discovered later), but it

Is it solely for attention, though, or does part of you wish for constructive criticism in order to help make you better at your craft (in this case, photography)?

She seems really cool. I've been watching AHS (first season I've watched as it aired) and she's great in it. I loved how, despite being nearly killed by the Minotaur, Queenie was able to be snarky about Madison's disappearance. I look forward to seeing her in more stuff.

Not sure if it's still available, but "Exit Through the Gift Shop" is pretty good. I'm not sure if it's an actual documentary or just an elaborate prank by street artist Banksy, and frankly, that's half the fun.

I have to say, I used to participate in that group-think interpretation of what feminism is, and when I first stumbled upon Jezebel, I was firmly entrenched in it. But then I shut up, I started paying attention, and my perception changed. I became aware of the concept of privilege as a white male. I'm not perfect, and

You know, I don't mind that I can't read the subtitles. It makes everything seem that much weirder, and the visual storytelling is strong enough that the viewer can construct a narrative in their head. I almost find myself wishing there were no subtitles at all, and that the details were left a mystery.

It's really not that surprising. I think everyone is naturally hard wired to feel fear in the face of something they can't immediately explain, regardless of our systems of belief.

The Jack/Miranda tension actually affected my choices during the assault on the Collector base. I know how all the choices for the mission work now (they're stupidly simple), but that first time through I didn't have a clue. I was afraid making Miranda the team leader would cause Jack to do something stupid. Garrus is

Yup. It's cool that Dragon's Dogma is being made available, but I still haven't played more than the tutorial for KOA: Reckoning, and I'm still working through Demon's Souls. It's a fantasy RPG overload!

LoL, this happens to me, too. Oh, Hitman is on PS+? Trade it in. Deus Ex? Don't mind if I do. Saint's Row The Third? Seven dollars toward Arkham Origins :P
